Today I headed down to Gravity Calgary to get some prep done for my upcoming show.
I had my favorite dish of theirs called the Jamaican Pie! (Their award winning Vegetable Quiche is my second favourite dish).
I paired the pie with their delicious Sweet Potato soup and had Gravity’s Coffee flavour “Insomnia”. It was pay what you want for the coffee day.
I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming.
The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians.
There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.)

Love the food they have here is not prepackaged bulk made food and the most comfortable chairs. It’s a real gem stop by. Love their banana bread, scones, smoothies and Jamaican pie! The happy hour at 4 can’t be beat either

Cute local coffee shop. Construction outside but store is open. We got a matcha latte it was very good. Washrooms for customers only, very clean. Did not try any of the food but many options available. They also sell cards. Many people seating there on laptops looks like wifi is provided. Large seating area, should not be an issue to find a seat. I would not call the 4 seats outside much of a patio with the car traffic and the constructions but maybe one day.

Popped in when passing. Their Brew coffee was excellent, added to the fact it was name your price. Excellent promotion and friendly service

Cozy spot in the heart of the city. Gravity café surprised me in a good way — the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and sometimes there’s live music that really sets the vibe. They offer food as well, which makes it more than just a coffee place — great for a light meal or a snack. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful (not everyone, but overall the service was good). A nice place to hang out with friends or just relax with a cup of coffee.

The barrista, Vlad, made an outstanding traditional cappuccino! It was so smooth, rich, excellent flavour, and not bitter at all. Just what you hope for in a cappuccino. Thank you, Vlad! Highly recommend. My friend got an iced americano and also spoke highly of it.
We stopped in around 4pm on a Monday, (a great time if you like to enjoy a quiet coffee shop with few people.) Many comfortable padded chairs. A perfect spot to rest and cool off after a walk along the river. There is construction scaffolding near the entrance, but just trust your GPS directions and it's well worth going! Once inside, it was quiet and restful.

i got a banana bread and an iced mocha, the banana bread was the driest bread i’ve ever had, the iced mocha lacked sweetness and aroma, it tasted like bitter milk. I also noticed they made it with 1:1 3% milk: 33% cream. service was just okay, nothing special.
