This review makes me sad. I have been a customer of Cakeworks almost from the very start. After my phone call on Thursday I will no longer be a customer. The person on the phone could not have been rudder. The person never even let me explain my issue. Unfortunately I ended hanging up on the person. I have ordered a cake for tomorrow for my mother's 90 birthday. Unfortunately things have turned very sad for my mother. There is a slim chance Mom will make it until tomorrow. I did not want to cancel the order I just wanted to make the cake smaller. I don't care about the price difference. My Mom loved cakes from Cakeworks. I would like to wish Cakeworks all the best. I will NOT be ordering cakes anymore or will I be recommending Cakeworks to anyone.

The staff was incredibly helpful and patient while I was placing my custom order over the phone making sure every detail was exactly right. The cake itself was the absolute centerpiece of the celebration. It was beautifully decorated, even better than I had imagined and tasted phenomenal. It was moist, the frosting wasn't overly sweet, and it was clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Everyone at the party raved about the flavor! I had ordered a cake from a different company with a printed photo on the top of the cake. Three days before my daughter's birthday that company called and said that they could not fill my order because I didn't take the photo myself. Basically a picture of a race car. I called cake works and they were quick to assure me that they could help me out. I just picked up the cake and I couldn't be happier. Absolute top quality customer service and baking. I would 100% recommend these folks to anybody looking to get a special cake for any occasion. You' really saved my daughter's birthday and I'm so grateful. My sincere thanks to all of you

We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes, I sent over pictures of the cake and COLOUR, sage green ! We even went in person, to write up our order… so no mistakes would happen …. All our decor was sage green, our wedding was over $35k, annnnnnd we got a baby blue wedding cake and cupcakes…. Our wedding photos are going to be so awkward…. Truly a huge disappointment. No quality control or care, offered a refund for 1/3…. Should of been offered a full refund, especially since the owner delivered it and still didn’t see a issue with everything in the ballroom with Sage Green everywhere, our florist tried her best to cover it with flowers😬 The wedding photos are going to be a forever reminder 🤦♀️ See pictures …What I got, vs what I paid for

I went there to order a cake for my son 1st Birthday. We had ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday years ago and I was ok with experience. But the person working the front today lacked customer service skills. If I am standing in your bakery I shouldn’t have to go to a website just to know the flavours of your cake. She had the most dismissive and unpleasant attitude that I’ve ever experienced. If I can’t even walk in to get information about your cakes, what’s the point of having a storefront?
