If you haven’t been to Calan Beef Noodle, you’re seriously missing out.
I found this place after reading the reviews and was so excited to try my first fresh hand-pulled noodle spot — and it completely lived up to the hype. The restaurant itself is super small with only a handful of tables, but that honestly adds to the charm. It feels authentic and focused on the food.
What absolutely blew me away was watching every single order being made with freshly hand-pulled noodles. No shortcuts. As each person walked up to order, the gentleman behind the counter would grab a ball of dough and immediately start hand pulling noodles for that specific order as it was rung in. Watching him work was mesmerizing — pure skill, precision, and consistency every single time. It’s not just cooking, it’s a craft.
The noodles were cooked perfectly — fresh with that ideal chewy bite (that legit noodle texture you hope for). I ordered #14 (Cold Noodle Chicken & Veggies), and it was amazing. So refreshing, balanced, and packed with flavor.
I’m already planning my next visit because I need to try their stir fry or beef soup next. If you love fresh noodles made right in front of you, this spot is a must.

HALAL CERTIFIED! Quaint & homely restaurant with vibrant and flavorful dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, #8 is my favorite and make sure you take your time and enjoy the house tea. Its a great palate cleanser.
The restaurant is a bit run down with torn up chairs. The soup is good. The Chinese tea is delicious.
