Calcutta Cricket Club is hands down one of the best restaurants in the city! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is vibrant, the food is absolutely delicious, and every dish is full of rich flavors that truly stand out.

A special mention goes to Colin, who went above and beyond with his service — attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly. He made our experience even more enjoyable, and the rest of the staff were just as wonderful, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we felt well taken care of throughout.

If you’re looking for amazing food paired with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!❤️🫂

From cocktails to dessert the food was wonderful, a melange of flavors that was memorable, in a delightful setting, with helpful service. Definitely one of our go to and suggested restaurants.

A really interesting take on Indian food. The restaurant is really well done, great decor. The butter chicken is really good. For me cod is touch and go, the cod here is excellent. The lamb is a bit to ‘alternate’ for me and not what you would expect for Indian lamb. The naan is fantastic.
The papadam with jam is well done.

All round a different take on Indian food and it works.

Very delicious beer! I loved that they offer samples before choosing your main one. Excellent service with attentive and friendly staff. What impressed me the most was the interior—such a great vibe! Thank you!

We just hosted our wedding reception here and all I can say is WOW! Food was amazing, service was phenomenal, and the vibes were perfect. We received a lot of feedback from guests praising the food and the friendliness and attentiveness of staff. Our events manager Amber was great to work with and was very understanding of a personal circumstance. Anyone looking for a good wedding venue I highly recommend! Also, great menu flexibility and plenty of options for different dietary requirements.

The food was well presented but bland, and the menu was very limited. I was disappointed that there were no kormas, vindaloos, or chettinadu curries available.
I will say the atmosphere was nice - the restaurant was clean and had funky decor.
Not a bad option if you want a nice restaurant to take someone who doesn't like indian food. For example I'd take my grandparents here. If however you're after an excellent curry, look elsewhere.

Please call yourself by the current name of the city ,calcutta is not the correct name anymore. Very petty complaint but i felt it was important to note how the name is outdated ,otherwise good restaurant. Kolkata is bengali and indian ,calcutta is british and for the sake of authenticity i think its better to call it kolkata cricket club. Altho i guess you guys wanted to go with Triple Cs .

Food was not good at all. I have had modern Indian food before and this should not even be considered Indian food. Everything my group ordered was bland and when I asked for salt and black pepper they said they don’t have black pepper. I am Indian myself and know you can’t make Indian food without black pepper so the fact this “Indian food restaurant” has no black pepper is crazy. Also my group ordered chilli chicken and it was VERY HARD. It was so hard my dad thought there was a bone in it. And when my dad tried to cut it I thought he would cut through the plate before the chicken. I would not recommend this place to any Indians or anyone who wants good food. This place is only good to people who have never had authentic or even good Indian food.

I’m sad to leave a bad review, but my friend and I did not enjoy our meals. I’m not a picky eater and I love Indian food, but I could not get through my meal. I ordered the paneer dish, and the texture was as if it were not cooked (mushy), but even uncooked paneer doesn’t have that texture. The sauce also was pretty bland. My friend’s food was also quite bland.

This was one of our first meals in Calgary and I was worried the food here was driven more by vibes than flavor. That is the case here, but we’ve had other excellent food in Calgary since. Great vibe and patio though, so hopefully they can change up their food.

Went there for a work lunch. The ambiance and decor are great, but unfortunately the food was just ok for me.

Ordered:
- mango lassi
- papri chaat
- expressed thali lunch with Kisha mangsho (dry curry braised lamb)
