They are always really busy during lunch time and they don't take reservations, so come early. Their food is excellent and authentic. I always like to get baked seafood (or pork chop) tomato sauce with spaghetti whenever I go to any HK diners. I would say their baked spaghetti is better quality and taste than some places in Vancouver. Their portion is also very big. I also got a HK milk tea and the tea flavor is super strong (that's a good thing). With this restaurant here, I don't think I'll ever need to fly out to Vancouver again.

After a long drive from Vancouver, this place taste just like home. We came for the breakfast menu and it is very authentic HK style food. Price to portion is also very reasonable. I ordered satay beef with rice noodles and sunny side up eggs with a milk tea. Came to 14 dollars.

Almost feel like back to Hong Kong. This is the best description for a Cantonese restaurant.

Recommended dishes: sliced beef congee 滑牛粥, Baked Rice
Our breakfast at this restaurant probably deterred us from having any Cantonese food for the rest of stay in Calgary. It’s only one more day!
I know. Many will ask why I would choose to eat Cantonese food in Chinatown. I usually would give the same advice too to visitors to Vancouver, too. However, when I saw all of the other half dozen dining parties being East Asians speaking either Cantonese and Mandarin and the place looking respectably clean, I had hope.
I was wrong.
While we were seated promptly and the menus came quickly, nobody came to take our orders until I flagged one of the 3 waitstaff down. All of them were just gathering by the counter talking to another worker making beverages behind the counter. While they were looking around the restaurant, they made no eye contact with patrons. 2 of them were engrossed in an argument.
We both had the breakfast sets. My husband ordered the bolo bun with butter, turkey sausage patty and scrambled eggs and I had their congee of the day (chicken and mushroom) and rice rolls. Both sets came with beverage and we both had HK milk tea.
Except for the HK milk tea, everything else was embarrassingly bad. The top of the bolo bun was soggy. My congee was bland and turned watery quickly. My rice rolls was dry and tough.
The fact that they preset the lowest tipping % at 15% on the payment terminal was laughable.

Absolutely the best Hong Kong-style restaurant in downtown or south Calgary!
They recently started opening at 8:30 a.m., which is fantastic news for anyone craving an early Hong Kong-style breakfast. Here, you’re not only enjoying delicious, authentic dishes, but also experiencing the warm, friendly, and efficient service that truly captures the spirit of Hong Kong.
The food is consistently high in both quality and quantity — and at very reasonable prices. My personal favorite (and a must-try!) is the Hong Kong-style milk tea. It tastes just like the real deal back in Hong Kong. Highly recommended!

Had the worst beef fried ho fan with bean sprouts. Waited 30 minutes with no explanation. The beef was dry, the bean sprouts were undercooked, and the entire dish was greasy, flat, and completely lacking wok hei. It’s honestly impressive how badly this classic dish was executed, that takes a certain kind of talent.

Omg! The old lady asked for the tip directly and wait for me until I give the money to her, this is not acceptable ever. Never happened to my life.

This location is absolutely disrespectful. I would not recommend this restaurant. Bad experience.
