Compared to their original NE location, the quality of this NW location is noticeably worse.

The sauces were runny and less flavorful.
I suspect that everything is made at their NE location and then they freeze it and transport it over to this location to reheat.

You should drive to their NE location for the true quality.

We recently visited this restaurant for a family dinner as it’s conveniently located closer to our home compared to the NE location. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — perfect for a family outing.

The Momo itself was nicely prepared, but I personally felt the sauce could be improved. The tomato-based sauce tasted very plain, almost like simple tomato paste without the usual spices and flavors that make Momo sauce so special. Since I’ve been enjoying Momo for nearly two decades, I know that the sauce is what truly elevates the dish — and here, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The hot sauce also lacked the depth of flavor we’ve experienced at other Momo restaurants. Because of that, we ended up packing half of our food to bring home.

That said, everything else — the staff, service, and overall dining experience — was very good. I would kindly recommend the restaurant to enhance the flavor of the Momo sauce, which would make their Momos truly outstanding. With such great service and atmosphere already in place, a more flavorful sauce would make this restaurant a top spot for Momo lovers!

We ordered the Jhol Momos and Momo Thukpa. Really recommended the Momo Thukpa. The broth has a nice tang with just enough spice. Will come back to try other dishes on the menu.

Voted as one of Calgary's BEST restaurants so of course I had to check it out . This authentic Napoli's restaurant offers a unique assortment of dishes that you can't just find anywhere else but here.
The menu is intriguing and interesting and I had a little bit of a hard time deciding what to eat.
I opted to try The Himalayan butter chicken.
This dish was absolutely delicious the chicken was simmered in a rich tomato butter chicken sauce and it was served with a nice warm piece of buttered naan bread as well as some very delicious and perfectly cooked rice.
You have to check it out for yourself.. trust your favorite local guide you won't be disappointed.

I’m so glad my wife suggested this place! The food felt wonderfully homemade—no exaggeration. The sauces were absolutely delicious 🤤. This was my first time trying Nepalese cuisine, and I really enjoyed it. At least at this location, the flavors weren’t as bold as East Indian food—the spices were much mellower, which made the dishes feel very balanced. Knowing that everything is made from scratch takes it to another level. It actually reminded me of how Italian cuisine must have felt when it was first introduced to North America—simple, fresh, and full of heart. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu and recommending it to all my foodie friends!

Butter chicken didn't have enough meat, the rice and naan was bland. Not the worst, but I wouldn't visit again.

First time having Nepali food, enjoyable but feels like something is missing in the flavour department. I had momos and made-in-house chai tea. Highly recommend the chili oil for spice lovers!
