Capri Steak & Pizza House

I had the cheeseburger and fries. OMFG. It was juicy. It wa next level juicy. The perfectly toasted bun. Definitely coming back.

been a client of Andy's for 30 years. always consistent. good pizza and a decent menu. if you don't order booze .. 2 could eat for 35 bucks including your tip (not huge one, mind you, but not insulting either)

food is excellent and the service is pleasant and efficient. This is amongst the last of the fast disappearing family resataurants

Alexis, a newer staff member, has phenomenal customer service and should know this! Food was lovely as well.

Calamari were super greasy and felt like fluffy popcorn. I couldn't taste the meat, just grease and fluff. Pizza was probably the worst i had in a while - thick crust but not fluffy, cheap salami with weird texture and taste, thick layer of cheese on top that had little in common with mozzarella. Large Domino's pizza would have been a better choice for the price i paid.

It pains me to make this review. I have been a customer at Capri for 25 years now. My family would order from there once a week. Once my brother and I got a bit older, we would order 2-3 times a week (with lots of our friends). All of the food was consistent. Like every time, it was the same. Their food was ALWAYS excellent. I’m going to use the lasagna as an example. It was always sauced just right, the noodles were always aldente, and the cheese was always the same amount. The lasagna isn’t the only thing that’s affected. The only thing on the menu that has stayed the same is the pizza.

Fast forward 20 years, and ever since COVID, the quality of food has sunk. The lasagna will have undercooked noodles one day, or over cooked another. The cheese is sometimes chinced. Lots of times the noodles don’t even have sauce in spots. Too much sauce, too little sauce. When ordering food you never want it to be like forest gump - ya never know what you’re gunna get.

Essentially this comes down to quality control. Their staff must have changed over the years and the pride of making consistently good food has disappeared.

Always great service and food

old school goodness!

Had our usual steak. Garlic bread was topped with delicious mold. The blue and black variety that spotted our bread like polka dots was less than appealing to the family. Reported it to the manager who said there was nothing wrong with it. Can’t wait to never return here! We should have taken the hint that we were the only customers in the restaurant. Gross!

We were a last minute group of 8 hungry after watching a late hockey game. We lucked out! We had a very friendly waitress, a booth with enough seating for our group, and we got a variety of interesting dishes. I know I had pizza that I shared with my cousin and it was fantastic. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time!

Thank you, Capri steakhouse and pizza! We had a really great meal, my whole family liked every dish! I’m sure we’ll be going back…

After 35 years, all I can say is this place never disappoints.

Steak sandwich was overcooked, and had little to no flavor. Boiled vegetables for a side. Fries were good. Waitress makes a mean long island iced tea. Staff were lovely. Lounge was dated, dark, and dingey.

Stopped in for the first time after driving by a number of times. The food was amazing. Had pizza and caesar salad and everything was very fresh, from the pizza dough to the toppings to the salad greens and caesar dressing. Great atmosphere in the lounge with TVs on relevant sports with sound. The server Shauna was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable with great service. I will definitely be back.

Great food, great service a real home style feel

I've always wanted to try this spot out. During the storm my folks and I didn't want to drive far for a meal, and I said let's go here. I called for a reservation, I was greeted nicely on the phone.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a wonderful server who showed us to the table. She explained the special and anything else we needed.
She was absolutely phenomenal, and definitely makes the whole experience better.
The food was fantastic, and a great price point too. I would highly recommend this place!
