We were so excited to find this gem during our trip up to Calgary. Food was phenomenal, service was all-around fantastic, and we left feeling full and happy. We had our two young kids with us too, and the staff made us feel so welcome (which doesn’t always happen when you bring tiny kids to a restaurant). We’d go back here again in a heartbeat — I can see why they have a packed house!

Was blown away by the tonkatsu carbonara and scallop and mushroom risotto the first time. Came back to eat those two dishes again but also got the duck rigatoni with the foie gras and it was great as well.

So far the best meals I've had in Alberta. Will continue to visit whenever I'm in Calgary as long as they can keep this up!

This past weekend, my partner and I decided we wanted to try a new restaurant last minute. We were craving italian food and had heard great things about Carino, and were very intrigued about their fusion restaurant. While we weren’t able to get a table on such short notice, we were able to get seats at the bar. The aesthetics and vibe are both beautiful, and the staff were wonderful (accommodating, kind, and provided great recommendations).

The food was amazing!...
