The first time we dined here was very good. Unfortunately the second time we went was horrible, Aug 23,2025. Service was rude and unhelpful. I ordered a margarita, but for a Mexican restaurant to use fake lime juice is not right. Chips and salsa tasted stale. The fish tacos were basically fish sticks with hardly any pico.. then food poisoning followed :( Extremely disappointed and will not be going to this restaurant again.

I know Mexican food inside and out, i have 2 places in Mexico so the experience was interesting. I noticed the menu was pretty decent, but the prices were a bit high for what you got for servings. Having a restaurant in Calgary probably isn't cheap, so higher prices are justified for good food. I was a fan of the layout, too congested. The noise level was not bad, but some tables were to noisy. It's worth a try if you like Mexican food. We enjoyed it, it didn't taste authentic. But close enough. Good luck with your restaurant. Try them out and see what you think. I'd go back to try a few diff items next time

Good thing I listened to my husband when he said we should give this place a try—we really liked it! My husband, our 1-year-old, and I had such a great time here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel so welcome.
The food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the Nachos and Carne Asada!) and the service was top-notch. Plus, it’s kid-friendly too, which made our experience even better.
We can’t wait to come back and try their other best sellers! 🌮✨

My group went here about 1.5 years ago. It was great! The menu and daily drink and food specials were awesome.
We went yesterday and much of all that has changed. You get misled as online is not updated to the sweeping changes made. You're made aware after seated.
One of our group had the Fish tacos plate and the batter fillets looked and tasted like out of a fish n chips value brand box. The person in my group was physically ill all night following this meal
The table chips were stale mixed with a few fresh and the dipping salsa had tastes of being openly exposed to the fridge over a long time.
I had the Now called Mexican Burger. It was ok and others had burrito and chimichanga of which didnt cause us to be sick.
I still gave a tip as the waiting service was still very decent.

Our server didn’t come to the table a single time after taking our order. Never refilled water or checked on food. The food took forever, and our server avoided eye contact until we could flag down another server to check on the order. When the food finally arrived it was flavorless. All-around disappointing experience.

They have coconut tequila and incredible margaritas! I love the pineapple marg. My husband loves the chicken pineapple tacos. So glad to have good Mexican food in North Calgary!

As someone who considers themself Latino on the inside, I absolutely love this place. I roll with a Spanish crowd and they loved it when I brought them here. Sometimes they even go here without me. I really like ordering the molcajete, but I have discovered I can’t eat it all by myself.
The bad. Don’t expect to get anything done after lunch. The food is so good you will lose self control, and not be able to stop eating. You will need a siesta after. My boss always gets mad at me after eating here.
