Great vibe, food very good. We ended up ordering after a large group in the private room had so there was a fair delay between courses. Staff were professional but not warm. Food was very good. Maybe the best ribeye had in years. Excellent pepper sauce and frites Please note it was very loud and hard to have a real Conversation.
Everything here was absolutely amazing. Right from the customer service to the food. Tried a couple appies and entrees. Our server was Joey, he was very attentive. Our drinks were never empty. Don't have a negative thing to say about this place.
Always my favorite French Bistro in Calgary. Little noisy inside, but still an amazing place to eat.
Cassis Bistro in Calgary offers a solid dining experience. The food was good and flavorful, though I felt some of the market-priced items were a bit on the expensive side—especially considering Calgary is known as the beef capital. Service, however, was absolutely superb; the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. On the downside, the restaurant feels a bit cramped due to the large number of tables, which can make it less comfortable during busy times. Additionally, it gets quite chilly when the front door opens, which can be a bit uncomfortable on colder days. Overall, it's a place with great food and excellent service, but some logistical and pricing issues prevent it from being perfect.
Excellent menu, quality ingredients, and superb flavours. A new special occasion restaurant for us.
Always great.

We arrived more than an hour before the advertised closing time and the door was locked. A nice waitress opened the door, asked if we had a reservation, and let us know that the kitchen was closing so they could only do cold dishes. We appreciated her not leaving us in the dark, but this was still surprising and disappointing. I wish there was a notice online that mentioned when the last possible seating was, or that it was reservations only. Thank you to the lovely waitress though.

Amanda, Gilles and the team are amazing! I come from France and, in a way, this place truly feels like home.
If you want to speak French, enjoy incredible food with the authentic taste of France, and finish with a Menthe Pastille at the bar while laughing with the team and connecting with great people, Cassis Bistro is your place, just like it became mine! :)

Fantastic, as always. Lovely neighborhood bistro. It has become one of our family's favourite places to just go at any time and have a nice dinner.
Love the place, the food, and the people. It was our first time there and our server, Amanda, was amazing. From the small chats to making sure we have fresh bread, she made sure we were welcomed and cared for. Food was spectacular as well, we recommend the mussels, the ravioli and the plat du jour (duck). ❤️
Great experience. Had the mushroom soup, duck special, and the nouget for dessert. Nice wine list, could over more wines by the glass. Service was excellent
