CattleBaron Steakhouse NE - Airport

First time dining here and it was very underwhelming. Greeted well but went down hill from there. Asked for a quiet table and was seated in the bar. Server was nice but forgot simple things like ice and condiments. Food was ok but cold. Tables around were swearing and shouting. It was SO LOUD and BRIGHT. Could have turned both down for better ambiance. Servers understudy was actually better at checking in with us to see if we needed anything. OVERALL: We will go to the Keg next time. 5.5/10

Great experience, we've been here many times and the food has always been quality. Farooq was a great server and I absolutely loved the Ribeye.

The food is excellent. We have been here a few times now and highly recommend it. The service is always pleasant and helpful. The one thing I like is when its a special occassion they dont bother you every 5 minutes on how everything is when you are trying to enjoy your night out. But are there to help you when needed.

Amzing steak, as usual. Great casual atmosphere and increible dessert. Start to Finish = AMAZING.

Outstanding service from the host on entry to our server and the food was absolutely delicious

Ordered the prime rib medium, and it was prepared rare and tough, making it impossible to cut with a steak knife.

We had a lovely dinner at the Cattle Baron with the exception of my steak arriving over cooked. When our server eventually returned to ask how our meal was we were almost done and she ran away to get her note pad so she could dispute what I had ordered. Thanks I have been ordering my steak this way for over 50 years, I don't need the staff telling me what they think I said.

French Onion soup was great on flavor but lacked onion and mozza cheese. Steak was cooked to perfection, great service, reasonable prices.

We wanted a nice steakhouse but didn't want to pay to pay top dollare for haute cuisine and CattleBaron was perfect! Portions were generous and steak was done perfectly. 2 sides are included. Fresh bread and whipped butter was delicious. My boyfriend had the 7 oz sirloin and calamari and he said they were both excellent. He's picky about how his steaks are done and raved about how perfect done and tender the steak was. I went all out and started with the escargot, which was delicious BUT they were the smallest escargot I've ever had so portions on this appy were a little disappointing but everything else was great. I had the Filet Oscar and I added a lobster tail. That was probably the tenderest, juiciest lobster tails I have ever had. There could have been more shrimp on the Oscar but the Hollandaise and asparagus were delicious. The brocolli and carrot veggies were nicely cooked and not overdone. Portions were good for the veggies and the double backed potatoe could have made a meal unto itself. In fact it has with the leftover brocolli and some cheese it made a great meal! We were in the lounge and sat close to the fireplace and it was very comfy and warm. A very nice ambiance. We enjoyed the music and it was a nice volume; not too loud, not too low. The service from our server, I really should get names, was amazing. Friendly, professional, attentive but not overbearing. She made the evening special and made a good recommendation for wine. We wanted a romantic steak evening experience and we got it and more. Fabulous, we will dine there again!

Four and service was great. We sat on the lounge side - it was very cold!! Food cooled off very quickly.

The food was okay, but for the price I felt the standard of service should have been much higher. It was not at all what I expected.

My husband enjoyed his dinner but my steak was too well done and tough. Also the restaurant was too bright. Would be nicer if they dimmed the lights a bit. This was our first time eating at this restaurant and I would not come back

We weren't given water, or asked about beverages until we ordered dinner. Dri ks came after the appetizers showed, and the food was a bit of a let down. We went for a birthday and it was an underwelming experience. I love this restaurant, after feeling forgotten about I don't know if it's worth going back to.
