Tasteless chicken shawarma.. this is not shawarma..chicken pre cooked and placed in the heating well to sweat. Then it is cooked again on a griddle it is crumbly ,oily and tasteless . Meat Kouba has no connection at all with Kouba . Over spiced and oily. Wasted money and time on this meal.
Unexpectedly pleasant place. I recommend falafel — huge portion at a reasonable price.

Plus 15 locations in BP tower. After giving this place the benefit of doubt a few times, I'm not going back. This pita that falls apart at every bite, no flavor in any of the vegetables, and the sauces are very bland and runny! There is little care or pride in how the make the sandwich, with toppings dispersed unevenly in very minimal amounts.I would not recommend this place. Service is decent, food is not.

The pita bread was extremely stale, and it crumbled into pieces as soon as I touched it; it was very poorly packaged. As I tried to eat, it scattered all over me and made a mess. They put something like boiled chicken in it, calling it shawarma, but there was no marination, and there wasn't even any chicken in the shawarma skewer. Everything was very stale, and I regretted my purchase immensely. I felt like I was scammed because I thought I paid for actual shawarma.

It’s is such a great place to eat! I always converse with the owner whenever I pay and they are so nice and welcoming that I always leave with my food happy knowing I got great service. The service is extremely fast and efficient and there is always every type of vegetable, meat and sauce on stock. Please try their beef wrap and add a falafal because it was so good!

I do have to agree with the other posts. I feel like it's gone downhill in the last while. When I first tried this place, it was great. My box was packed with a generous amount of meat and veggies. Went again recently and it feels like they are definitely cutting back. There was probably a handful of everything including the veggies. A little disappointed as it was good before.

This place rocks! My girlfriend and I were touring around Calgary and saw this hidden gem. We decided to give the place a try and let me tell you..... the food was amazing, the staff were excellent and very friendly and the overall pricing was very fair. Definitely recommend. 10/10.
