A bit on expensive side but really enriched and tasty food. Bun kababs are worth going to here. For iftar I liked their macaroni and fruits mix and of course the papri chat was delish, one I came with liked their chicken sliders, other things were not great as those things are not their specialty!

Terrible service. Came in today March 22 for breakfast. The girl wasn’t even interested to offer us a seat and just said we don’t serve halwa puri during Ramadan.
Honestly, we’d rather just go to an Indian restaurant & get better service regardless of religion.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon entering, I was immediately addressed in Hindi without any consideration of my background or preferred language. As a customer in Canada, I expect to be approached respectfully and inclusively, regardless of assumptions about my ethnicity.

I ordered 10 samosas and was made to wait for over 30 minutes, even though the staff seemed more focused on closing the restaurant than serving the customers who were already waiting. To make things worse, the samosas were of very poor quality. It seemed like they had mixed old, stale ones with freshly fried ones. Some even had an unpleasant smell, which made them inedible.

This level of service and food quality is unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful, clean, and timely dining experience.

I visited Chat House today for a meal, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I asked about the available menu options, the staff initially informed me that the dinner menu was unavailable, which was completely fine. However, when I inquired about a burger and asked what kind of meat it contained, the staff member responded in Hindi which I don’t understand. When I mentioned this, she laughed and repeated the answer again in Hindi

I’m not sure how she assumed what I eat and what I don’t, but as a customer, I expect a respectful and professional interaction. Being mocked or made to feel uncomfortable for asking a simple question is unacceptable. If a restaurant serves certain dishes, the staff should do so without judgment and with proper courtesy toward all customers. Please let your server know that she cannot assume what language a customer speaks or what they choose to eat. Every customer deserves respect, regardless of their background or food preferences.

I left the place feeling disappointed and unwelcome.

We have visited chat house many times now specially for breakfast. They have good options regarding our tradition south asian food. The decor was nice. We tried chole bhature, which was really good. The servers were very quick and polite.

I hope this message finds you well. I recently ordered both garlic naan and plain naan from your restaurant. However, I noticed that there was no noticeable difference in flavor between the two, and the garlic naan lacked the distinct garlic flavor I was expecting.
When I called to inquire, I spoke with three different staff members who explained that this is how your garlic naan is typically made. While I understand that every restaurant has its own way of preparing dishes, I was still disappointed with the outcome.
I kindly requested a refund or exchange, but I was informed that this would not be possible. I wanted to share my concerns with you, as I feel that ensuring customer satisfaction is vital for the success of any business.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback, and I hope this can be considered for future improvement.

Great experience. We had a big party of 18 people and Navjot and Manisha were great hosts. They were organized and ensured we got all our food on time. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.

We ordered papri chaat and aloo tikka for take out. My husband took the takeout container and didn’t notice that they gave us leftover papri which is like garbage. Aloo tikki taste wasn’t good too. Worst experience

Went for dine in but they told it’s gonna take so long time and asked to leave. Worst customer service, employee name harpreet don’t even know how to talk to customers. If people are calling you guys doesn’t mean it’s always about job. Sometimes it’s about the bad services employees gives which effects the reputation of the place.

I am very well known where i went. Your employees must have given false information about them. If you are so concerned about your reputation then improve your customer service.

We recently visited this restaurant for the first time with our family, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. Upon arrival, we were left waiting at the front desk with no one available to assist us. After some time, three hostesses emerged, chatting amongst themselves, and we had to ask if we could get a table. We were told to wait, then informed that no tables were available. Eventually, after some confusion, a table was offered to us.

Once seated, we waited for about 10 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. During this time, we noticed the owner casually walking out of the kitchen and stopping at one of the tables, where it seemed like he was catching up with a friend. He asked them how their meal was and if they needed anything, while completely overlooking the rest of the customers, including us.

Ultimately, we decided to leave due to the lack of attention and poor service. It’s disappointing because we were hoping for a good dining experience, but unfortunately, this was not the case. We won’t be returning.

food is really good, I got the chicken noodles, and for 12$ this was a lot! although i can’t say the same for this chicken roll, only three chicken pieces wrapped in a small naan for 11$ was definitely not worth it .. overall though i would say this place is pretty good i recommend get food from the “Dinner” section on the menu they have big portions and taste pretty good.
