This is the most disappointing bubble tea shop in Calgary. They don’t follow simple requests like 30% sugar or less ice; in fact, they often do the opposite of what you ask. The staff doesn’t apologize for mistakes, and the service is very slow, even when there’s no line. Their bubble teas taste more like water than tea.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Chatime. The staff member was extremely rude, clearly unhappy, and made the visit uncomfortable with his attitude and loud banging of equipment. The store was messy and in need of renovation. Drinks were average, my pearl milk tea was too milky. Wouldn’t return.

Disappointed and mad with the service of the staff. I dont think they even deserve a star. We come here often to order their popcorn chicken, and get one drink. Yesterday, we had the same order and we sat in the store to wait since we know that the chicken takes some time to be cooked. We waited and waited and customers who just came to the store received their orders ahead of us. Customers left and we were the only ones in the store and the guy was just on his phone. I understand that the chicken takes longer to be served, but the guy didn’t even give us our drink. 30 minutes have passed and then the woman inside told us they’re not able to make the chicken. I was furious because they could have at least given us our drink and not make us wait that long. Apparently, reading some reviews, this is the norm in this store. Bad customer service. They could have at least given us a heads up that the chicken may take longer than usual or tell us something was up with the cooker. But no. Never coming back to this store. I hope the owner reads this and do something about it because apparently didn’t just happen once. Customers have been complaining constantly with the attitude of the staff. If you want your business thriving, treat your customers well.

Really disappointed with my first visit. I should have checked reviews first as this appears to be the normal experience. The service was extremely slow, it took a long time just to get my drink when there were no other customers. When I asked for something that was clearly shown in a photo on the door, the staff member (a woman with a very short style hair cut) told me they didn’t sell it. I even went outside to take a photo to show her, and she seemed to acknowledged it but still gave me the wrong drink.

She was cold, unfriendly, and barely spoke English, which made communication really difficult. When I waited to politely let her know about the mistake, she completely ignored me. Her whole attitude was dismissive and unbothered, like she had no interest in helping at all. I ended up just throwing the drink out and leaving. Definitely won’t be coming back. This was genuinely frustrating and disappointing.

Great bubble tea, not so great service

I don’t usually write reviews… I came to get a milk tea and after finishing it while sitting in my car I found a bug (fruit fly) in my drink underneath the sealed plastic thing on the cup. I was disgusted and shocked… I don’t think i wanna come there again. I’m unsure how it got in my drink since i poked the hole when i was in my car and there aren’t flies inside my car so… 🫠

genuinely very disappointed. i come here often to grab a boba every now and then, and i only ever receive bad customer service from the workers. the one female worker with a bowl cut, she can barely speak english let alone take my order. everytime i ask a question, she answers it like i'm dumb and just asked the stupidest question ever. her attitude is very off putting and her rbf is super rude!!!! horrible way to treat customers. the wait time is unneccessary and online orders are prioritized. seriously, if you're going to run a boba shop be sure to treat ur customers well.

I wish I could leave them a negative star. Honestly I never leave reviews but I have never been so mad and disrespected at a place for no reason! I went in with my daughter who is 6 to go get a bubble tea, I am not familiar with all these new tea and drinks! I barely ever get bubble tea but she wanted to try it! So we went it and when I asked a couple question each question I asked I got looked at like I was dumb and the lady with the short hair and glasses! Would look smirk and bat her eye lashes and answer so rudely and not even an answer. The lids on the cups are so hard to poke a hole in it! I splashed bubble tea everywhere! And they just looked at me and I am like can I have napkin!? She just took a few and basically threw them. Anyways just the way the lady at front is taking the orders and the way she was talking actually was so gross! She is lucky I had my daughter or I would have been just as rude back!!! Don’t go here!!!! There is better places with wayyy better service and way better bubble tea!

Each time we have come to Chatime at this location, we have had a fantastic experience! The customer service has been lovely, the atmosphere is great, and the drinks are tasty. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a bubble tea spot!
