Food was below average. Service was bad and the atmosphere was also very disappointing. Won’t be going back. Also pretty unhygienic. Spent around $60 wasn’t worth it.

I had heard a lot of positive reviews about Chennai Species and was excited to finally try it. I ordered a couple of dishes, including the chicken biryani and mutton biryani. To my disappointment, the chicken biryani and the gravy that came with it had hair in it. It's incredibly off-putting when you're expecting a hygienic, high-quality meal.
The food itself was flavorful, but the presence of hair completely ruined the experience. While I understand that mistakes can happen in any kitchen, it's the attention to cleanliness and food safety that matters.
Great portion size and the food tats was on point.

to be honest I liked it before but now its below average in terms of food quality, waiting time is tooo much. had chicken biryani before, all was good but now boiled egg was cold freeze inside rice. I mean who put freezer egg i dont know how old it was, in the rice. I have to throw it. The curry with biryani not changed, looks like they are saving money with bad quality. before biryani was 10$ now 18$, same quantity and poor taste. Sorry but i liked it before but not now. Never gona visit there again. and atleast reduce ur waiting time for those who love to visit u. very bad experience overall.

We recently had our lunch at Chennai Spices. Food was really good whole family loved it . We had a non veg thali & seeraga samba briyani combo which was great. People work there was great. Dosa comes with thali is a must try . Ambience was not that great but food is great & good place for takeaway. If someone wants to have South Indian food go for it . Right spot.
Vegetarian options: Lots of dosa varieties available dosas are crisp and tasty with coconut chutney
Parking: It’s a plaza so plenty of parking is available
Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible. Restaurant is very small and doesn’t have wheelchair access

I ordered chilli chicken and chicken chukka from this place on the recommendation of 3 employees in the store. The taste was really bad. It had no salt or spice in it. Never ate such tasteless chilli chicken ever.
Great food. Dosa and biryani 🤘
