Chennai Spices is one of our favourite restaurants in Calgary! They serve the most authentic South Indian food in the city. We absolutely love their South Indian filter coffee and Chicken Chettinad — both are simply outstanding. Ramya is always so attentive and helpful, making every visit a wonderful experience. We ordered 4 masala dosa and their is hair in the dosa. No hygienic. Even they charged extra surcharge on credit card without asking or taking permission from customer. When I asked about 2.4% surcharge on credit card, the employee at the front desk he said he will talk with the owner. When I said about hair net the server said they wear but when I checked in the kitchen employee they don't. I advised the others not to visit this place. Very bad experience . Wastage of money.

Order masala dosa from uber..cost approximately 15$ ..just one advice.. alu stuffing was little bland , no spice..add more tadka in it. Otherwise overall taste with samber and chutneys was osam... highly recomended.

Dosa is excellent, and noodles are also top-notch. I've been in Canada for the past 20 years and, despite living in Surrey for 16 years, I have never experienced such great food until now. No one asked if we needed anything else, which is the only aspect that could be improved. Everything else is fantastic. The people are very kind and humble.
