The most PETTY and sad ayce Ive ever tried. All the upgrade meat you can get from their “premium” select are limited 1 order per person, I mean all, and the portion of that 1 order is TINY, it’s like one bite size. And maybe you would expect the quality to at least be good, but no, beef is mid and unworthy to call Wagyu, the lobster tail is TINEY, slightly bigger than a spoon, definitely frozen before，and the eel is just frozen cooked eel from supermarket， and all of these are limited one order per person, wow. And this is 75 CAD plus tax. On top of that their basic meats are much lower quality and chewy. Literally any other K BBQ is better than this stingy one. Again, saddest ayce ever.

I recently visited Cheongdam Korean BBQ – Royal Oak and ordered the Galbi Combo, and I had a great experience.

The quality of the meat was excellent — tender, flavorful, and perfectly marinated. The galbi had a nice balance of sweetness and smokiness, and you could really taste the freshness. The portion size was generous, and it was more than enough to feel satisfied.

The staff were attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back and try other menu items.

Had a lovely time with my kids (two teenagers and an 8yr old). Great quality food and excellent service from the staff. Totally worth the drive from another city to celebrate valentine weekend with them. I would absolutely recommend this place. We grilled ourselves and they had this little note to let you know how long they should take to cook or recommended cook time which was helpful 😄. Thank for having us.

I had such an amazing experience at Cheongdam! The food was absolutely delicious, and the quality of the meat was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and premium. The servers were incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole dining experience even better. I truly had a happy and satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Did the ayce Korean bbq with my family today.

We found the meat was ok, service was good although it was a Wednesday and really quiet in the restaurant.

Beef was tender but shrimp wasn’t cleaned. Very disappointed to get un cleaned shrimp, which was lacking flavour.

The sauces were also very underwhelming. My family and I got to an ayce Korean bbq restaurant in Edmonton where they have a sauce bar (and cooked food bad) with sauces that are all so good it’s hard to pick 3 from. At this restaurant we didn’t use any of the 3 sauces due to being too heavy and or salty.

Ventilation was also very poor. The staff opened up the door to vent the restaurant out and my daughter had to put her coat on because she was too cold 🥶

Honestly, we probably won’t be back.

Service was great. We ate SO much. Tables have plenty of room instead of feeling squished. Probably the best value for AYCE KBBQ in Calgary if you like your meat. 10/10

Went there yesterday and was very impressed. Out of all the Korean AYCE spots I’ve tried, this place has the best quality meat. Everything tasted fresh and good, Also the selection was amazing. Definitely one of the top Korean BBQ AYCE restaurants. I’ll be back!

Overall I was very happy with our meal here tonight. Took almost 30 mins for our first round of meats to arrive but then they were quick with the orders. Our host was also very quick with our requests. Everything tasted great. My only issue is the type of grills they use. It’s more of a stainless steel hibachi then a bbq grill. Still I’d recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

We ate here last Friday night and opted for the platinum tiered All You Can Eat. The food was totally worth it for the the Wagyu beefs, which I have never seen in a Korean BBQ before. However, we were not impressed with the service which was lukewarm at best, and we had to always flag someone for attention despite being charged an automatic 18% gratuity.

Food was so good but still conflicted because of the service.
We were a large group of 10 and the idea was to bond over food, I would not recommend for groups above 6 to be honest,and if you're new to barbecue,best not to fly solo, as it gets really busy and the setup assumes that you should know what to do.
Thankfully we had an expert in our group to help us out with the delicious menu. We were stuffed!
No complaints about the food at all, really made me happy 😁.

On the other hands I had ordered a Mojito which was a letdown, so I don't recommend the drinks either.
Some of my company had tried the Mochi and had advised that it's not what it tastes like,so I would try that somewhere else before I decide if I Like Mochi or not.

Overall I highly recommend for the Food.
If you're get health triggers from smoke, it's probably not the best for you either.

The food was excellent. The service they gave was amazing. We've been there 3 times now. And still same.
We will definitely be coming back.
It's quite pricey though.
Other than that it's a great place
