Ahh!! Honestly not even sure where to start!! Chianti is one of my favourite restaurants in Calgary, I have been coming here literally since I was in a high chair!! I’m constantly amazed and impressed by the service, the warm atmosphere and how efficient and quick they are!! The servers and staff are all so kind and lovely to chat with and I have never had a poor experience here and definitely never a bad meal!

Last night I ordered the con polpetti and I was blown away by the portion size!! It was absolutely delicious!! Another favourite of mine that I have gotten religiously for years is the Caribbean with penne instead of fettuccine noodles and it is my favourite pasta EVER!! highly recommend Chianti!! Never fails!!

Not to mention the bread and oils!! The focaccia is DELICIOUS!!!!

Came for lunch with my 4yo, she had the kids meal for $9 which included juice and ice cream, she loved it, I had calamari and a half Ceasar salad and it was delicious. Wish I had room to sample the desserts they looked great too. Bread to start with oil and vinegar was a really nice touch as well. Really impressed with this little place. Our server was Dane and he was delightful

We have had Chiantis mutliple times over the years, and I'm not sure if it's due to picking up food vs dining in, but the food was very dissapointing the last couple times we picked up. Tonight especially, the food was ugly and looked like someone slopped half cooked noodles under square cut cheese. Lasagna noodles not cooked, my tortellini fell apart as the cheese was not cooked and neither were the noodles, just slop. I think this might be my first google review and I wouldn't even accept a free meal, I just simply don't recommend it

Out on the patio, we were able to enjoy some pasta for our anniversary. With my wife being celiac, we really appreciated how Hailey, our server, did so much to assure that our meals were safe for her to eat! We also loved that there was no upcharge for gluten free pasta!

Beautiful day ☀️ sat out on the Patio. Yummy Ceasar salad. Enjoyed Alla Carbonara (creamy)pasta. Fresh bread for dipping in the oil and vinegar dish 😋. Menu has a wide variety of Italian dishes. Also offer half size pasta. Parking ample. Handicap accessible.

The food is fine. This isn't the best Italian food you will find. The ingredients are low quality, but the dishes are prepared authentically. Admittedly I have a fairly high bar for Italian food, so I wouldn't read too much into this.

The reason I have a low opinion of this place is primarily to do with the service. The host was unfriendly, dragging us to our table without even a smile. Upon being seated we got the most unfriendly waiter I have had in some time. He told us incorrect things about the menu items, scoffed (literally scoffed) at our wine choice. Then when it came to bill time, he presented it as one joint bill. We politely asked him to separate it and he crumpled the bill in front of us and walked off without even speaking to us.

If you get an older gentleman as your waiter, be prepared for a bad time. His service was so poor I would never consider going back to this place.
