Isn't a Chicago deep dish pizza at all, it's much closer to a Detroit style pizza. If your not familiar with Detroit style pizza, it's a thicker bread, often a bit doughy in the middle but with a crisply edge from the baking grease. Overall not bad for a pizza place in Calgary

I was at the paint store next door and decided to stop in and order a pizza. The classic Pepperoni, Bacon & Mushroom combo is now called a Canadian pizza. This location has been in business for decades and the friendly lady behind the counter told me she has worked there for over 20 years. I used to order from here when I lived nearby, so it was nice to revisit the place. It's take out only, but there is a table for people to sit and wait. The pizza is the same as I remember,...

Ordered from Skip the Dishes and the pizza is delicious. It's the coldest day of the year today and the pizza wasn't too hot when it arrived but I just popped it in the oven for a few minutes. Yummy!
