Chicken On The Way

Worst chicken i ever had in Canada. I am never going to this or any of their branches. Waste of money. Chicken pieces were super small except 2 pieces our of 5 pieces. Potatoe salad was super bad, and the gravy was all water. First time i tried this food chain and last time i will ever go here.

I ordered today for the first time from Mckenzie Towne location, unfortunately I can’t say a big positive experience, Fries are way to salty & a bit soggy, the chicken was okay excluding the legs they were burnt , the gravy is yucky , but I will say the corn fritters were awesome but could give some honey sauce to dip
I will say I would probably drop in if I was in area for some corn fritters other than that I will definitely save my money !!

Food prices have increased, while the quality has greatly decreased. Chicken on the way is not what it used to be.

Horrible and very disappointing! Chicken was dry and fries were green and old. What a waste of money. Never again.

It's takeout, have been a consumer since they only had main one on 14st, They have specials but this one never shows them unless you go in. Fries hit and miss sometimes crispy sometimes not so much, Chicken is fresh from hutterites, so usually good. ? 4 Piece is 2 drums a thigh and breast. Since they franchised noticed difference between the ones in Calgary.

Best fries in the city, just don't get them wrapped or they'll get soggy on the way home. Very friendly staff

Order the 8 piece3 family meal chicken over cooked 2 very small pieces.
The one Leg wasn't much larger then my thumb.
This place has gone down hil

The food was delicious. The staffs were friendly, helpful and provided an excellent services. I gave top marks to Mackenzie Towne five stars.

Pretty solid food. Found the fries a little taste less. The chicken was moist and crispy.

My chicken was very raw as I could see the blood on the chicken and it was very nasty

We love Chicken on the Way, but this location is super inconsistent, mostly not up to snuff. We ordered the family meal today and the chicken ranged from not crispy and barely cooked to burned. I assume they are batch frying and then refrying the chicken. But the oil must be old because man, it is making everything soggy and imparting some kind of bitter taste. The fritters tasted like they’d been sitting under a warmer all day and were mushy, not crispy at all. And somehow the fries were undercooked and still raw. We picked the order up ourselves so this wasn’t a delivery misfire. It’s super disappointing but we’re not going to bother ordering again as we’ve given them multiple chances. I am sad the this company went from being family owned to a franchise because man, standards have slipped.

It’s clearly all of us who are conspiring against your brilliance, desperately seeking hugs and such.

We had a fantastic experience at the Chicken on The Way McKenzie branch! The food was absolutely delicious, the serving is large, and the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit enjoyable. I definitely recommend this location to anyone craving a great meal!
