Chicken On The Way - Crowfoot

I’ve been here over the years but it’s really gone downhill. A month ago has paid extra for upgrading pieces & several were missing. Called back & was told they’d replace the pieces & wrote it down in the book. Went back a couple weeks later & it wasn’t written down & was not offered replacement until I insisted they sort it out.
Today went in & ask for the same order I get at other COW locations & there was over $2 extra charges. I was told this is the price at this location.

The little brown haired boy has really great customer service. The food is really delicious and yummy and this is my favorite place to eat ever !!! I come here 3 times a day.

By the nine divines stay away from this establishment!
For all the food is disgusting, soggy cold plus undercooked fries. Inedible 🤮

Awful experience will never be back!

🚩 for anyone who doesn’t know: old cooking oil used turns fries and chicken dark brown (as seen here in my photo) this oxidation causes free radicals to build up in the body= Very unsafe to consume as inflammation is high and illness is highly likely to occur.

Greasy chicken. Awful soggy greasiest coldest fries ever. Cold gravy. Change your oil!! Won't be back.

I go to chicken on the way at least 4 times a month most of the time they are real good
A lot of the time they don’t have any chicken ready and I there between 5:30 and 6 The kids working there don’t seem to care The owners should look into this I’ll give them one more chance

We ordered the fish and it was so greasy there was left overs of grease on our plate very disappointed do not order their fish not sure what the chicken is like, but the fish disgusting never again

I ordered 8 piece family meal, out of the pieces there was 3 pieces which was smaller than half a finger! The fries was burned and seems like their oil is too old and they don’t change it. I was not feeling well at all after eating their food. Please do a favour to yourself and go somewhere else like kfc and get a better food.

Ordered side of shrimp. It was 6 pcs.
It was so greasy. I pealed the batter off and just ate shrimp.

First time at this location and got a large order fresh and quickly made. We had chicken, fries and gravy, fries were awesome. Surprised that the drumsticks were pretty small but the rest of the chicken seemed good size (abnormal sized chickens? Haha)Just a note for the business that our chicken and gravy was salty, hopefully can be cut down for the next time we visit.

Just ordered some chicken strips from here through Uber eats and honestly, it was terrible. We ordered 3 regular strips and 3 spicy and both were so greasy that they rendered them inedible. In addition, the chicken itself was dry and overcooked and the spicy strips had zero spice. I tried getting a refund through Uber, as I only ate of my 3 pieces and was unable to. I recommend ordering from somewhere else.

We ordered a 12 piece checked meal with fries and gravy for the Stanly Cup Final - first thing - when we drove down to pick it up @ 5 p.m after pre ordering it @ 11 a.m, it was not ready. Secondly - they forgot our fries and corn fritters. Thirdly - the drumsticks are about as big is my finger but my finger has MORE MEAT on it!!! What the heck is that? Fourthly - when we called to complain we were told they were TOO busy and we would have to pay for anything we wanted fixed!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!

I've already mentioned the size of the drumsticks - but just WAIT until you see the size of the checked wings. This whole meal cost us $42 - that puts each piece of chicken at $3.50. what's an absolute disappointment! Do your family a favor and look elsewhere. All these failures where matched with 3.9/5 rating. That's where we went wrong. Should have done some research. NEVER AGAIN Chicken on the Way - NEVER again!

Did take out of 12 pieces. I find if I go around 6, they are busy and the chicken and fries are fresh made. As usual, good crisp chicken that was still got when we got home. I've gone at 5 and find the chicken has been sitting. Not that it's bad, just not as good. The next day it's still juicy and the skin isn't a lump of fat like KFC was. If you want a good chicken dinner or lunch, go for it here.
