“This is our first time at Buta Katsu and it was fantastic! We had the cheese katsu and curry katsu. Both meals came with rice, cabbage, and miso soup and everything was delicious. The portions were large and the price was reasonable. Our server was friendly and the location is nice and cozy/sunny.“

“Edit Nov 17/23 - I havent been here for a bit, usually go to the north Wow Chicken so I didnt know they changed their name and some of the menu. The lady was so nice! I asked about the name change, the new food items,she let us try some things. I always get the Gang Jeong space but she also gave me the Mala Buldak sauce to try - hhhoootttttttttt! Wow, only a little and I was sweating! As she gave it to me,she said she liked that sauce....good on you lol, that's a very hot sauce! We had the mozzarella K-dog with sugar to try, that was good too! We then had our usual lunch special. Little different with having a packet of bulgogi powder but it worked, and the chicken thighs were 3 large rather then some smaller ones. All good, nothing bad to say! This always was my favorite Wow Chicken location so I'm glad they stuck around and now serve even a little more under their new name!I cannot say enough about this place except that it is named very accordingly!! Between the sauce (spicy BBQ), the breading, the chicken.... It's amazing!!! Ordered the bulgogi fries....man! Crispy and full of flavor! My only regret was that I didn't try this sooner!!“

“Had such a great lunch at Day Day Bistro! I got the Taiwanese chicken Friday special , it was super crispy and tasty and my husband had the salmon and tuna combo, which was so fresh. The owner was really friendly and checked on us a few times, which was nice. Prices are fair, food is fresh, and everything hit the spot. We’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!“

“The staff here were super welcoming and patient with me. I couldn’t decide what to get, and they let me try a bunch of samples, which was really generous. I ended up with the potatoes, mixed veggies, and honey chicken, great hearty meal. I started gobbling it down right away and totally forgot to take a picture.

“Very cool place and concept! The menu and drinks are all on theme and tasty.

The presentation of all the drinks is so creative, it’s so much fun watching other tables drinks come out and seeing all the different trays. A lot of respect for the team here serving and preparing all the trays!

My only critique would be due to the complexity of the trays, sometimes it can take longer than expected if there is only 1 or 2 people serving, but it is worth the wait!“

“Delicious chicken and can’t wait to try other dishes they serve. We just stopped in to check it out and possibly grab a quick bite. Ended up grabbing a couple of their chicken burgers (reg) and from those alone my wife and I plan to return because it had so much flavour. Personally their chicken burgers are better than KFC after they replaced the Big Crunch to a basic filet burger. They’re better than Popeyes and Jolliebee and I can only imagine how good the Korean dishes will be. An absolute must check for yourself and you’re welcome 😉“

“I came here multiple times during my uni days, it became my comfort food place everytime I go to kengsington area! The service there is very nice, they will always greet you nicely and the manager there is very kind! I highly recommend their cheese fries tho! PLS PLS PLS try it when u come there! For parking, it’s just hard to find parking there or in kengsington area in general bcs it’s always busy, you gon need to go around atleast once to spot a parking spot but it’s totally worth it!“

“I ordered 2 pizzas online using my phone. When I arrived to pick up the pizzas, I discovered that I had made a mistake with the 2nd pizza. I had 3 hungry children with me and the one child has allergies and could not eat either of the pizzas that were ordered. The manager put in a rush order for a pizza that the affected child could eat and had it ready very quickly. He gave the extra pizza to me free of charge even though it was my mistake. I was very impressed with the way the manager handled the situation.“

“Wow! It is much larger than it looks. The food was incredible. It was a large portion, the steak literally melted in my mouth. Prices were very good as well. I would be back over and over. I have to try a clubhouse next, one walked by and it looked incredible. The service was great, the crowd very friendly. you should try it out!! I was very impressed. On our most recent visit, management went above and beyond after a previous double charge was made in error. “Tavern 52 is what some may refer to as a dive bar, or maybe a biker bar(ish). Older crowd mainly 40+. Personally I like those types of bars. A refreshing change from the sterile franchises like Earls, Moxies, OJ’s and the likes I will be going back. Cheap beers and wings on “

“Very friendly service, pizza itself was quite good. Classic Calgary style but with higher quality ingredients than most places. Only downside was ordering a gluten free for one person we had to order a medium. Expensive for one person to eat a slice or two. None the less, highly recommend
