“I had this because seniors pizza was way too busy as usual. This food was amazing. The chicken was huge and the sauce was spectacular. the fries were crispy and the portion was amazing. 5 stars. You will not need disappointed.“

“I happened to come to Wind in it yesterday sep 7th 2024.never tried it before,so my friend and I thought why not.
Was I impressed with the lovely young lady who said she's new,but,was so friendly, professional, sincere. Anyway,we decide to try the chili. Was so much than I expected,very vell presented, very tasty. We want to try their coffe.I don't drink coffe,but I wanted to try..wow,haven't had a good coffee in a Long time,this is why I stop drinking coffe.
We stayed 3 houres,just order chili & coffee,yet the young lady stayed so friendly,.they were very busy the bill came,I was chocked to see how low was the price,the coffee was free...If i can I would give a million starto the owner, to the staff.,& the service we received
I wish I ask her name,I didn't tip her what she deserved.Trust me I will come back& I will tell many of my friends. Beyound words how happy we left with the most simple dinner we had.

“Nice new Katsu spot in Royal Oak area. The price is very reasonable, good portion too. Super busy for take out and such, good for small family or friends dinner, wouldn’t recommend for large groups based on their capacity. Happy to revisit for sure.“

“Their menu is nothing but chicken and potatoes. But they do both these things extremely well. The spicy variants are not as well executed as some of their competitors, but if argue the meat tastes better in general than those same competitors so its a wash.

Staff was polite, punctual, and even brought my guest and I cookies as we were about to leave since they had forgotten to include them with our order (we hadn't even noticed).

The general vibe of the place is a little jarring though. I'm not sure what aesthetic they're trying to capture, because it feels like a bunch just slotted into place and thus having elements of many but not one theme overall.“

“Edit Nov 17/23 - I havent been here for a bit, usually go to the north Wow Chicken so I didnt know they changed their name and some of the menu. The lady was so nice! I asked about the name change, the new food items,she let us try some things. I always get the Gang Jeong space but she also gave me the Mala Buldak sauce to try - hhhoootttttttttt! Wow, only a little and I was sweating! As she gave it to me,she said she liked that sauce....good on you lol, that's a very hot sauce! We had the mozzarella K-dog with sugar to try, that was good too! We then had our usual lunch special. Little different with having a packet of bulgogi powder but it worked, and the chicken thighs were 3 large rather then some smaller ones. All good, nothing bad to say! This always was my favorite Wow Chicken location so I'm glad they stuck around and now serve even a little more under their new name!I cannot say enough about this place except that it is named very accordingly!! Between the sauce (spicy BBQ), the breading, the chicken.... It's amazing!!! Ordered the bulgogi fries....man! Crispy and full of flavor! My only regret was that I didn't try this sooner!!“
