Chili Island Chinese & Thai

The value of the food here is unbeatable! I am so used to being disappointed by the serving sizes when I order out, that when I opened my order from Chili Island I had to write a review. All of the containers were bursting with food! I doubt they could have fit one more grain in the fried rice. Also, the flavours were top notch, with the ginger beef and the BBQ pork fried rice being real home runs (although my kids were huge fans of the noodles). Overall, a great choice when you’re craving Chinese food, and I will be back.

Good food, great price.

Pros, portions were very very large and I loved the spice level.
Cons, Food got served really late we were told it’s because there was a lot of take out order. I will visit again perhaps not to eat in but take out.

Weird customer service practices.
I was there recently and I witnessed a lady who I believe to be the owner or manager. She was belittling a food delivery driver who is there to pick up a food order for one of their customers. She was mocking her and humiliating her in front of the customers and other delivery drivers. I was quite shocked at her disgusting behavior.
She was telling the delivery driver that she was there too early and that other delivery drivers come on time which I thought was strange because getting there early is better than getting there late.
She went on to humiliate her on her for not knowing how to accept a double food order or something and another driver was helping her he laughed at her and called her stupid that she doesn't know how to use the app.
If that's the way they treat food delivery drivers I wonder how they will treat other staff members.
Anyways the food that I had was not bad it wasn't the greatest I've had much better at their Chinese restaurants.
After paying she gave me dirty eyes because I didn't leave them a big enough tip which I felt that I did.
My food order came to $35 and I gave an $8 tip I thought that was more than enough.
But she didn't say thank you or anything she just clutched the bill and walked away.
They need to work on their their customer service skills.
It was not a surprise to me to see how empty the place was.
I think they probably rely on takeout and have lost their communication skills and how to run a restaurant in the front end.

Loooooove food from here!!! Always order delivery and they are super fast! Portions are very generous, dinner for 2 days! Their pad thai is my favourite

Always love the food we get here. The BBQ pork and honey, Cantonese noodles, ginger beef, and dumplings are all delicious.

If you want decent service this is not the place to call. Placed an order for pickup, arrived to pick it up, paid and the lady walked away (assumably to grab our food) no. I then asked her 3 different times about our food that was well past the pickup time and she refused to even acknowledge me. Completely unreasonable and unprofessional. Had we all been told to expect an extra 15-30 minutes due to unforeseen circumstances or anything of the sort it would have been received much better. I’ve never been treated so horribly. And to add to it the toppled everything on top of our soup and the soup busted and spilled all over me carrying it inside.

You’ve lost a previously loyal customer today.
