I love Chilito's, the food is awesome, authentic and delicious! The service is smiley and quick, the Corona's are always cold! Plus you can check out all the action on 17th Ave! I go with friends, family and business associates, everybody love the place!

It was surprisingly quiet for Friday evening. We had a great table out on the front. Service was on time and friendly. Chips and guacamole were outstanding. My Quesabirria was really good, but I felt like my plate was missing something on the side maybe some shredded raw vegetables or something. One of my companions had the enchilada and said it was great. Another one had a quesadilla. I would recommend.

Delicious cocktails! We had the beergaritas, piña colada, and guavarita (so delicious.). Food was yummy, our server Lash was very attentive and sweet, she made our experience even better! Patio, on a slower night, is very peaceful, it was a nice atmosphere.

We dropped in for some tacos, which were very small, no pineapple on it as advertised.We ordered red wine, it was warm/hot. We asked for ice to cool it, which diluted the flavour. We should have returned it. Our server (who is the owner was not attentive,, did not fill our water, did not tell us the wine was warm) We Noticed other servers were very attentive to other guests sitting next to us. Third time here, never again.If you want a good taco go to Panchos in Puerto Vallarta lined up every day, large quantity..

If i could give this place and the staff a negative 100 review I would. On Tuesday i made a reservation for 10 people that turned into 12 the staff said they had room over the phone i then even got a confirmation text later that day then on Thursday got another confirmation text so I thought we had a reservation. On the day of the reservation I called to let them know we are stuck in traffic, I give the female worker my name and info about 5 to 6 times even puts me on hold a couple times im thinking oh great shes just doing her JOB and just checking our reservation when she comes back with there is no room so you'll have to go somewhere else, I asked even with our text confirmation for our reservation you cant take us? she replied yes have a good day and hung up, Luckily YYC PASTA made room for us!!!!
She did call back after we found a new place for my birthday, I kindly let her know she already sent us away so not to worry about our reservation. If this worker just did her job typed in the info i gave her multiple times this all could have been avoided someone needs to retrain her as she just lost this place over $1300 in profit not including tips as that's how much we spent at YYC!!
I would love to call her out by name but sadly she can't even answer the phone properly..

I don’t like giving negative reviews but this place needs some constructive criticism. My husband and I were really hungry and we chose to go for dinner. The environment was nice because we sat on the patio and it was a nice evening. I had no problem with the plastic colourful chairs because they were comfortable and just suited the environment.
The food was edible but desperately lacking in flavour. We ate everything because we were super hungry but it wasn’t tasty. We ordered the Mexican fries to start and they were underwhelming. They seemed to be frozen fries from a bag that were deep fried with some ketchup, sour cream, and a very tiny bit of nacho cheese sauce drizzled over them. They would be so much better if they were fresh with some Mexican seasoning on them.
I ordered the beef enchiladas and the red sauce was watery with very little flavour or heat. The beef was tender but It had no taste. It desperately needed some spices or a marinade. The rice tasted good but it was the tiniest little portion. The refried beans were fine.
I ordered a virgin lime Margarita and it had a very strange taste to it. Kind of a floral perfume taste.
My husband had been there before a few times and liked it but he was also very disappointed. He thinks the menu changed because it’s not how he remembered it.
Hopefully my feedback doesn’t offend. I hope it can help make it better. The food just needs a lot more flavour.
Perhaps there is room for improvement in the preparation of the tacos. Adding a touch of oil to the tortillas might prevent them from breaking, keep your plates hot cause tacos are cold,and enhancing the seasoning of the meats could result in a more enjoyable taco experience.
