The experience was exceptional and the food was delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary with family and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. We will definitely be back as this is a hidden gem in NE Calgary.

Don't be nervous if you have food restrictions, Chop is super accommodating and the staff are knowledgeable about each item on the menu. The music wasn't too loud in the dining room so we were able to visit with our friends easily. The staff was attentive and friendly.

Always love Chop for a good atmosphere and quality food. Like that they changed the steak bite happy hour portion to full size. Fun girls night! Will be back for sure.

I ordered the filet mignon, which, while tasty, was overcooked. The vegetables consisted of four or five very small heritage carrots plus a good-sized baked potato with all the trimmings. Our server was friendly and checked back on a regular basis. There was, however, another female employee who must have taken a bath in her perfume - it was so overpowering when she walked by and the aroma just hung in the air - it was quite unpleasant. Considering this restaurant is at least a 20-minute drive from my house, I don't think the meal justified a return visit.

The overall service at the Chop Steakhouse was ideal. Our waitress was extremely professional and offered to assist on all stages of our meal. The actions and comments of other staff members was also appreciated as they acknowledged our Anniversary. A complimentary desert was given at 'no charge'. Our sincere thanks to all for this personal offering. The only criticism was in the meal itself. In both instances the steaks ordered were lacking. The New York Steak which I ordered was extremely thin and unfortunately had an abundance of fat. In my wife's case she ordered the tenderloin, she found it tough and inferior in our expectations of a steak of this grade. It was disappointing to say the least. We did not raise this as an issue however the Chop Steakhouse prides themselves in the steaks and we expected better. In consideration of our waitress we did not complain, however we will remain dissatisfied. I have attended the Chop House in South Calgary previously and found the meal satisfactory. I trust this review will assist not only future customers but the Chop House Management. My regards......

We had an amazing meal with amazing service. We each had the filet and we split the wedge salad to start. The manager gave us a special treat appetizer since it was our fist time at a chop restaurant. The food was done perfectly, tasted amazing and the service was spectacular. We would go to another Chop when traveling again due this wonderful experience.

Good food. Good service. A little loud. When booking the reservation we requested a booth. We were seated in a booth but it was on the bar side so was louder than we would have liked. Next time we will request a booth on the restaurant side.

Unfortunately things started off in a wrong foot when both the hostess and manager could not move our table to a quieter spot. We were right outside the busy and noices kitchen with staff hanging out and dishes clanking a lot. Very disappointing service from a manager who made no attempt to help our situation and reduce the bounce level we have piled experience. Sadly very poor customer service.
Chop is always great from the moment you walk inside , never had a bad steak either, they greet you coming in and going out

I had brought my team from Saskatchewan here for supper. One of them had never been so the chef started us with a tuna sampler which was amazing. Then we got our starters and our meals and the food was amazing. Service was great and everything was perfect. Thanks for the great evening!!!

We went to CHOP Steakhouse and Bar on a Sunday night for a family celebration. Perfect destination with upscale ambiance suited to the occasion. The host was friendly and guided us to our table as soon as we arrived. Our server was very attentive. The appetizers (steak bites and wings), meals (seafood linguine, steak and burger) and dessert (cheesecake, crème brûlée) were fantastic! Portion sizes were perfect (mini was perfect size) and packed with flavour. Highly recommend.
