We fully utilized Happy Hour which made it more affordable for the six of us to celebrate two birthdays on Thanksgiving. The service was excellent as was the food. Atmosphere was wonderful. We only wish that Chop Steakhouse & Bar was closer to us because we'd go there more often. You need a restaurant in West Calgary where development is strong and population is growing.

Stopped for dinner while spending the night in Calgary. It was also my husband's birthday and we mentioned that to hostess when asked. Their steaks were awesome, service was great and when dessert came around they added a special touch. Definitely recommend!

The front end service was excellent. The food ( Prime rib) was not up to the usual good quality. The meat was very stringy and not tender The side vegetables were barely warm.

We had the pleasure of checking out this establishment while we were there from medicine hat. The staff the food the service was amazing. We were greeted with door staff front reception which seems to be a lost little extra. It really makes the dinning experience top notch. The waitress in the lounge was interactive. The assistant manager chris greeted us with a welcoming treat from chef. I guess we stood out as newbies lol but we got a little welcoming treat it was just a party in your mouth. We ordered the escargot stuffed mushrooms as well as the goat cheese mushroom dip. The escargot was a little too lemony but the dip paired with the stuffed mushrooms leveled out the flavors and the two appies were perfect. If you get a chance to try their smoked oldfashion beverage definately recommend or the mezcal beautiful flavors there for adults beverage. Our mains were steak with mash and thr tuna tataki and the flavours seasoning were just unmatched. Hubby was blown away with the seasonal veges paired so nicely with his dish. Overall I can't wait to go back

We were celebrating our anniversary- first time at. Chop. Once we entered the door we were taken to our seat and our server extraordinaire Cassie welcomed us. Great service, amazing food and drink, reasonable cost - it was a great night to celebrate our 34th anniversary Thank you Chop steakhouse for making it memorable

We had a lovely dinner there. The three of shared the butcher's board. The steak was delicious. We all liked the sauces too. The mashed potato were next level delicious. Ended with a lovely dessert & coffee. The wait staff were kind, knowledgeable and attentive. We lived out of town but will be visiting again. Thanks for a great dinner. ❤️

We had a party of 8 and they put us in a private room which was a nice surprise!! The server was awesome and very nice. She was very attentive and delightful. The room did get quite hot when they closed the doors. We were in town for a celebration of life and the server brought us all a glass of proceco which was a very classy touch!! A fantastic overall experience!! Well done Chop!!
