The experience was exceptional and the food was delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary with family and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. We will definitely be back as this is a hidden gem in NE Calgary.

 *our table included someone with a severe nut allergy, and our waitress went above and beyond to make sure they were accommodated. Don't be nervous if you have food restrictions, Chop is super accommodating and the staff are knowledgeable about each item on the menu. The music wasn't too loud in the dining room so we were able to visit with our friends easily. The staff was attentive and friendly.

I ordered the filet mignon, which, while tasty, was overcooked. The vegetables consisted of four or five very small heritage carrots plus a good-sized baked potato with all the trimmings. Our server was friendly and checked back on a regular basis. There was, however, another female employee who must have taken a bath in her perfume - it was so overpowering when she walked by and the aroma just hung in the air - it was quite unpleasant.
