Ordered Bistek Tagalog and Arroz Caldo today. The Bistek is NOT bistek tagalog at all. It has carrots and the food is too sweet. It felt like eating tocino! I liked ordering from this restaurant but this dish they claim to be Bistek Tagalog is disgusting. We wasted $19 for something that’s not worth eating.

I gave 2 stars because the Arroz Caldo was ok.

had lunch today (oct 12) with my family and we ordered mixed seafood sinigang, molo soup, fried rice and crispy pata. after a long wait, our orders came except for the crispy pata. since it was already past 12, we started eating expecting that the crispy pata will come soon. however, we already finished all the other orders and yet no crispy pata came. i asked my son to follow up and make another order of rice since we have finished our 1st order and he was told it will be served. the rice was served but we were asked if we are willing to wait since our order was mistakenly given to another customer.i was so irritated that i only told her to cancel the order and return the rice and after paying we left. there was not even a sorry from them. we are regular customers but this experience today is unacceptable

The food is always excellent—our go-to spot whenever Filipino cravings hit! But what makes it even better is the amazing service from Jerome and JM. They always go above and beyond, making every visit such a great experience. Truly outstanding staff!

Lomi was great, and the place was very clean. However, everything else was disappointing, especially the customer service. I understand that things can get busy, but that doesn’t give the server the right to be rude when asked a simple question politely. He didn’t need to rampa off with an attitude when we just asked about our missing food (with receipt showing). Anyways the robot was a nicer server.

Kare Kare is too bland and pork is too dry. Portion is okay.

If you’re craving authentic Filipino dishes, this spot is a must-visit! The overall experience was excellent, the food was flavorful, the service was friendly, and the ambiance felt just right. It’s a great spot for anyone craving comfort food with a taste of home.

The food was okay. Since it’s Filipino, I was hoping it would hit closer to home, but the flavors were a bit lacking. I ordered the laing — sadly, it wasn’t quite laing-ing 😅. The crispy pata was also a bit bland, even the soy-vinegar dip didn’t help. That said, service was great and the restaurant itself is really nice.

We’re at Calgary for a visit. We ordered sizzling bulalo, batchoy, sisig silog, fresh lumpia, halo- halo, crispy calamari and pork lumpia. Everything was good and delicious but the pork lumpia and the rice from sisig silog. The sinangag was hard that my husband has to pour soup on it for him to eat it. It seems like it was on the warmer for a long period of time waiting for the other dishes to complete.
My 9 years old daughter was eating it already and thought of trying it myself. My first bite I saw still pinkish meat inside. I opened it up to check further I believe it’s still raw. I asked the server if that was really like that when they cook it and she said “is that pork? Yes it is cook”. We stopped eating it anyways. I cook pork lumpia at home as well and it was not like that. Yes, the pork’s color if it’s NOT cook was pink and if you cook it, should be at least turns white/light brown. Other than that it was a good meal. Maybe next time try to admit if the food was not cooked properly and make it right. “If it’s not right, don’t serve it” don’t sacrifice the quality of the food. The place was great but please be aware as well with the food quality. What will happen if you serve your customers with raw food?Salmonella or e.coli
Just a thought.
