Chopstix Filipino Restaurant - Macleod SW

My wife craved for Filipino food and we’ve been wanting to try to come here.
Right off the bat, the excellence of Filipino service is right there, friendly, accommodating, with a welcoming smile. Our food came right on time and we didn’t wait long.
We ordered the Lapaz Batchoy which we liked very much and Crispy Pata as well, and special house fried rice, not so special, some of the meat have bones and we didn’t like that the shrimp’s tail still has shell skins.
It’s also a homey atmosphere and we’ll probably come back with our kids next time.

I recently dined here with my friends and was thoroughly impressed by both the exquisite Filipino cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu showcased a variety of innovative dishes, blending bold flavors that reminds me of what looks like im at home (Philippines). The attentive and knowledgeable staff specially George, who ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent service and ensuring our satisfaction. I can’t recommend Chopstix enough for a fantastic dining experience.

Came in close to closing time and the server spoke with the manager and was able to let us order still! We ordered the beef sinigang and the kaldereta. Both were so good!! The soup is a huge portion and I'll be eating it for several meals. Our server was very friendly and made me laugh. Overall I had a great experience!

There are some staff who are very nice, but the manager was very rude and impolite.

Edit: I know the machine was down, but nobody apologized for the inconvenience it caused. The manager insisted my card would not be declined because their systems were offline, and after the third attempt my card was blocked. I went to another store and tried to use my card but was declined. Now I have to go to bank to reset my PIN.
Honestly, this is not the first time I heard complaints about your restaurant. Very poor service.
At least you are not the only filipino restaurant here in Calgary.

One lady kept saying one of the food is unavailable, but if you asked other employees they would say it is available. Maybe she doesn’t want to serve the customers.
