Karaoke is decent. Food is average, not amazing but usually doesn’t disappoint. The mushroom Swiss burger is probably the best thing on the menu. The handmade burger patties are 8oz which is bigger than almost every other pub/restaurant in the city. I had the clam chowder with my burger which had a bit of a weird texture - like way too much flour was used to thicken it or something.
Went to watch the last game of the World Series. There were still a few seats available even after game start time. The place is relatively small but a great neighborhood bar that serves great food. I had the French dip and potato soup and was stuffed after only half the sandwich. Would definitely go again.
I was introduced to City Pub when it became the home bar for my pool team. This is an update...the food is still great (quesadilla plus 😳) and so is the beer. Pool tournies on Saturdays again and good company.
My serving sizes have always been more than I can eat and sooooo nommie!
Still have Karaoke but only on Friday and Saturday now...not on a pool night 😁
