Ordered macarons and paid 18 for 6 pcs thru door dash. Unfortunately, size of their macarons are inconsistent some are big some are small and tasted like not fresh.

This bakery made my parents' silver wedding anniversary and my sister's wedding cake last Thanksgiving day. It was beyond beautiful and tasted really delicious. I'm so grateful and happy for the service. Will surely come back next time.

I bought a sampling of items (pear walnut danish, my personal favourite - Opera Cake, and raspberry frangipane).Danish was so dry and tasteless, even the pastry cream which is usually the best part of the danish, was bland. Raspberry frangipane mini tart - it’s all about the almond filling right? Nope. Couldn’t detect the distinct almond flavour nor the texture of creamy smooth almond filling - not at all, and I love frangipane. Finally, the chocolate ganache used in the Opera Cake tasted cheap. Couldn’t taste the coffee-soaked sponge. Buttercream between the layers tasted waxy and spread too thick making the cake a little heavy. The overall quality is nowhere near the calibre of say Eclair de Lune (the previous bakery in that location) or Jan Haute Patisserie, bakeries who specialize in these type of French pastries. Don’t know if it’s because Fleur de Vanille is skimping on key ingredients like butter or if they use cheaper ingredients. For me, Eclair de Lune still makes the best Opera Cake as well as other pastures. They make Opera Cake the traditional French way using almond flour for the sponge, which also makes it gluten-free for anyone who’s interested. Prices are also more reasonable there.

Stood 10mins at front waiting to be served. No one came out from the back. This place does not "cater" to walk-ins. Prices are extremely high for what portions you get. They must serve only corporate clients. Not a place for me.

Looking for easy snack grab for us after having painting class, it's just around the northmount area and we was just give it a try and surprisingly its a very nice place, a lot of variant of cake and cookies. We tried their canele, strawberry cookies and two of sugar pie, I forgot the name, all was so good. The service was very friendly.Definately will come back for more sweets and treats :)

They have such amazingly delicious baked goods of all kinds! I am in love with their Palmier's. You will love anything you get from here!

We ordered delivery, and weren't sure how well it would travel. Fortunately, they make everything in easy to travel portions, and the contrainers are sturdy! We had ordered each 1 portion of the mango mousse, frangipane tart, a canoli, apple strudel, and a creme brulee.Everything was over the top in flavour, texture, and portion size! The creme brulee was silky and creamy, and frangipane tart was bursting with flavour, the mango mousse was delicate and the perfect amount of sweet! The apple strudel was flaky and and had a nice bite still. The ricotta in the canoli was a bit overwhelmed for my SO's taste, and the creme brulee a bit too runny for his taste, but overall, we are very pleased with our order!I will happily be ordering from these folks again, and will be talking about that mousse for ages to come, im sure ?

Great discovery! This used to be Eclaire de Lune and I hadn't realized a new bakery had replaced it, and I will say we really enjoyed the pastries from Fleur de Vanille. Each item was prepared with care, tasty and not overly sweet, prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent! I will definitely order cakes from them next time I have a special occasion!

You got to admire small businesses such as this bakery. Through the pandemic, they still managed(and managing) to provide quality service and products. Hard times, but they have been resilient, and they didn’t let this affect their products and output. Having said that, their chocolate biscotti is to die for. I also ordered Mango Cake, and Purple Yam with sweetened coconut cake, and it they were both very delicious. Not too sweet, good moisture, decent size, fair price.

Found this place over the weekend and WOW! I will be making my way up there more. The best croissants I've ever had, the turnovers amazing, plus all the other treats we had are equally delicious!

Decadent and delightful. So many options it’s really hard to choose! Pastries, cakes, macaroons, croissants, etc. In the end made a choice, but it was hard!

Always a great experience! Probably the best take and bake Cinnamon buns in the city! If you love French pastry done right you need to check out !

One of the original Calgary dessert places. Used to come here all the time at the old location, damn that was nostalgic, now not so much mostly due to the high prices and industrial location is more out of the way personally. Now, only a couple times a year I'm here at the most. Still excellent quality. 4/5 overpriced but good.

I've only been here once so I only tried the ice americano and a napoleon but both were really good. It wasn't too sweet, which I like. It's a small place with 3 tables outside on sidewalk. They had a frozen section too in the back but didn't really see what they had for sale. I would definitely come back here.

Very tasty, but they take forever. I don't have all day to wait for a sausage roll and a chocolate mousse. They've got the baking down, but they really need to improve the front of house.
