We hadn't been to Cleaver for a few years but decided to call in for a drink on our way to another establishment where we had a reservation. The Manager was very quick to welcome us and explain the specials and advise us of the cocktails on offer for their happy hour. We returned to Cleaver a short time later due to noise level in the other place where we couldn't even talk without yelling. Don’t be fooled, this is no longer Cleaver it’s “Cleaver on 17th”. Not the same food offering or ambience. Booked a table and lasted 2 min after seeing the menu and being blasted by the loud kitschy music. Missing the original Cleaver.
