Cluck N Cleaver - Walden

I love this place! The food is always cooked to perfection. I love the menu and options. If you want some modifications they are always happy to accommodate. I love a little spice, but not too much so they are always happy to do less or more! I have been a few times and the staff are always so friendly and remember me. The owner is super kind. It truly feels like a team effort, and even though the wait can be a little longer than your basic fast food joint, it is always made with care. Definitely check them out if you’re in the area 🙌🏼

What a delightful hidden gem! My daughters and I loved the chicken tenders! I’m confident they were the best we have ever had. We all tried different dipping sauces, which were delicious and unique to anything we’ve tried. The fries were crispy and tasty. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. The tables were clean. We will for sure be back for more. What a great spot to eat!

First and Last time going. Terrible experience for me. Went in on Halloween night at 6pm. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, 1 poutine, and small fries. 15 minutes and 40 dollars later I drive home to find they forgot 1 of the sandwiches. It was a huge pain and a real disappointment that I had to drive back, missing plans and wasting my time. By the time i got back home, the food was cold and quite frankly not worth the price. They did refund my money. But the experience was truly agitating.

The service was really good. I'd have enjoyed the chicken way more crispier and well done. It definitely needed a few more minutes in the fryer. Please be aware that it is a little bit pricier compared with other options. I enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere and cleanliness.

Love C’n’C place as I love chicken a lot! Every time being around the area, rolling in to enjoy the best house-made freshly cooked chicken tenders. A local gem spot Walden truly deserved!

I never give 5*’s as I’m extremely critical being in the restaurant industry for 20 years but what Nicole and Francine have created is amazing. If you haven’t tried their hand battered chicken tenders, you’re missing out. Best damn chicken tenders in Canada! I am excited to take my family there and try everything on their menu. Congrats to Francine and Nicole…..brilliant concept with a food program full of flavors that provides an amazing experience to Calgarians.

Depression sets in when you realize their second location has been open for over a year and you just found out!!!! Best fried chicken you’ll ever eat. If I could give more stars, I would. The owner even went to their car to bring in Mr. Potato head toys to play with. My daughter said “it was so yummy I almost ate the building”.

Do yourself a favour and skip the bigoted American chain when it opens.

I’ve always loved Cluck and Cleaver, and the Motherclucker has been one of my favorites. However, our recent experiences haven’t quite lived up to the usual standard. Last time, the sandwich was a bit messy and falling apart (we always pick up since we live nearby).

This time, while the sandwich looked great and was well-assembled, we noticed after the first bite that the chicken wasn’t fully cooked, which was disappointing. We weren’t able to finish it.

I’m not trying to be harsh, just offering some feedback in hopes that it helps. It might be worth checking if the staff at the Walden location could use a refresher. We’ll definitely give it another try though—still rooting for you, Cluckers!

Update: The store manager reached out and promised to re-train the employee who may have served me as they take their chicken quality seriously. As I said before, I love them and would go back.

A coworker told me about the Tuesdays special. 1/3 lb chicken tenders for $10, buy 1 get 1. Definitely a fresh hot meal for lunch with leftovers. Service was great also at the Walden location today!

I love this place. Me and my family usually get the Tuesday 2 for 1 chicken strips and it is always so good. Great chicken and great sauces. Jenna Staples was my cashier/server and she was so incredible at her job. Very welcoming and helpful. She made the experience 10 times better! I would recommend for sure.

Some of the best chicken tenders I’ve had…. Very comparable to Raising Cane’s chicken in the states but LOCAL!! I love how everything is made fresh, in house! The Price was super reasonable for what you get, the batter was crispy with a delicious depth of flavors. And the honey mustard sauce was so creamy, rich and zesty. I can’t wait to try more menu items. Awesome, friendly and informative staff!
