Cluck and Cleaver quality of food has sure fallen. Have not been in a couple of years. It used to be so tasty, and had that southern taste to it, but now.. it tasted like a KFC product, greasy, no taste, as well as the biscuits had no taste either. Too bad. Won’t be back!
We have eaten here 3-4 times and it’s become progressively worse each time. This last time the chicken had blood near the bone, was excessively greasy (bottom of box was pooling with grease) and the pieces are smaller. We gave it this last one chance but were disappointed again. The breast piece we had was like half a breast and the thigh was only about 4 bites worth of chicken. 3 small pieces for 20$. Avoid this place.
Best chicken recipe from Too Chef Canada ?
1 piece of chicken is 5.75. Don’t mind paying for quality but has nothing special about it. Would definitely think twice about trying
You could cut the salt in half in the chicken and the gravy, and it would probably still be too salty. For the price, I'm expecting something a little out of the ordinary, but this is actually worse than KFC.
This ain’t your regular KFC type chicken joint. I love the honey mustard, don’t know how they make it taste like heaven. Great spot in West Springs to sink your teeth into
Sorry guys, tonight was a disaster. I don’t mind waiting over an hour for my food but I sure do mind when it shows up ice cold. We’re pretty loyal customers but that loyalty is fading
I've eaten a lot of fried chicken... A lot!! but this ... Is an experience. the chicken is fall off the bone, the poutine, while a tad salty was the perfect balance of cheese gravy and stupidly amazing French fries. I ordered mine thru door dash and while it took a while to get to my place it was still hot and juicy. I will order again for sure, keep up the great work
High price for what you get. I was really excited to try this because the marketing had been done well.Chicken had definitely been sitting out for several hours, but would probably taste good if it was fresh. The gravy smelled like raw flour and had no flavour.Could get the exact same meal at the gas station for a quarter of the price
Always top quality chicken. Excellent crispy coating and moist meat throughout. Staff are always friendly but I definitely recommend pre-ordering online to avoid waiting long. 10/10 definately recommend going here

Way overpriced. Chicken sandwich tastes good but very small piece of chicken in small bun. $2 for a biscuit that wasn't fresh at all.
Poor value for what I paid for their 8 piece combo which was ~ $ 53.00 for their coleslaw salad and their 8 piece combo (4 pieces white/4 pieces dark chicken, 4 pieces of biscuits, large fries & gravy). Where do I start? Did not provide freshly made chicken, but served me pieces that were under a heat lamp and I couldn't make selections on what they were going to pick (some of the pieces were not great quality). Seasoning on the chicken is a bit weird, don't get me wrong it's still edible but for the price you pay that's not saying much. Their gravy is also a bit off - tasted ok, but way too much flour. Biscuits were not fresh and a bit stale. The only thing that was good quality was the fries which were freshly made and home cut and the coleslaw wasn't too bad. Again given the price paid and that fried chicken is the core of what they do this was a disappointing experience and I can't recommend this place.
I like the mother clucker sandwich however they are inconsistent on the chicken size. I've had some that have been fantastic but I've also had some that the chicken is half the size of the bun so you are eating just bread and sauce. The consistency is not there for the amount of chicken that goes in a sandwich.
The chicken was a couple of seconds from being burned, it was full of grease and the batter was beyond being disgusting. I asked the workers why the price was so expensive and he stated he knew it was very expensive but it was good chicken. Well the chicken was very bad, greasy, batter disgusting and unable to eat it. I saw a promo on this chicken place and wanted to have some if I ever visited Calgary well the time came this week on Monday 20th September we found the place, ordered the chicken and poutine for $47.00, thinking we could have a very nice lunch but the opposite turned out, the poutine was extremely salted and we could not eat it tossed it in the garbage at $8.25 a serving. I do not recommend this take out restaurant.
Been a fan of Nicole Gomes , since seeing years ago on TV. Expected the best chicken sandwich ever. Didn't get it. Feel apart , first bite on picnic table , just outside restaurant. Sauce too hot for my liking, My fault for not asking how hot before ordering. Coleslaw on sandwich was tasteless , basically ,just creamy cabbage. Although , if they made a open faced sandwich , with their gravy on it. I loved the gravy. Ran out fries, used pieces of broken bun to soak up gravy. Still a fan of Nicole's , will watch for her on The Food Network.
