it’s 2024, I’m done gatekeeping the best bars in Calgary.. Coasters is SOOOO good! It’s my favourite place and I’m okay if it becomes your favourite place too, because they deserve the hype! Let’s cover all the reasons why. #1 the staff!!!! A tight knit group of my favourite girls as servers (I love them all but special shout out Fawn, love you girl!!). And a kitchen staff who knows exactly what TF they’re doing *chefs kiss* #2 the menu. Omg the food! Always amazing!! IVE TRIED EVERYTHING!!! soooo good, and the prices are even better ;)) my personal favourite are the crunchy chicken burger, coasters burger and steak sandwich. Of course you can miss Wednesdays wing night!!! #3 the prices!!! I play a little game when I go to a new restaurant.. it’s called “let’s compare the prices to Coasters..” TRUST ME ITS A FUN GAME!!! You won’t find better prices. #4 it’s close to home and local!!! And I can come get drunk and walk home. For those of you who don’t live in McKenzie, the food and service is worth the travel!!#5 KARAOKE!!! Fridays and Saturdays babyyy! Starts at 8 pm!!!Honestly… I could go on forever… but come see for yourself!! :)

My server showed terrific patience with me. I had a over a dozen pockets and places to look for my bank card. Never once was I made to feel uncomfortable. A good 7 minutes later I finally found it and she said she was never worried. Sounds trivial, but I will remember.

Love having Coasters in the neighborhood. Great pub food & drinks. Open for lunch too. Parking lot always busy, clearly enjoyed by a lot of people!

The worst place to go for slow unfriendly service. Got charged for items we didn't have. And got bared from place because we complained about vodka paralyser curdling cause it was not made properly. On top I called to speak to owner about why we were bared from there and never responded or called. I also had someone by me a drink and wanted just a vodka soda and brought me a patron tequila shot and said he's got money and good for it without even asking him. I'm a high end dining room server and things like this are unacceptable and unprofessional. Watch your bills and pls make sure you are there long enough cause understaffed and slow. The only good thing in my opinion is the pizza and nachos. Our business will go elsewhere where we know service is at its top.Hope it changes cause pizza man is an awesome host at karaoke.
The burger was super,service was excellent and you even had Sleemans Honey Brown beer. What else do I need !
