I usually buy challah bread from a different COBS Bread location, but today I decided to stop by this one since it was on my way. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed when I got home. The bread was dry and almost stale, nothing like the soft, shiny, and delicious challah I’m used to from COBS Bread.

So much better than grocery store bread! And, plenty of the products are vegan.

I ordered sourdough bread and requested it to be sliced. The person assisting me was kind, but I noticed she handled the bread with bare hands, without wearing gloves, in front of me. She placed the bread in a plastic bag, but it was not packaged properly, making it unappealing to eat. I understand if proper handwashing had been done beforehand, but that wasn’t the case.

Came in and bought a bunch of random baked goods, they were very appealing to the eye. However, very dry and almost stale? Maybe a bad time of the day.

Nice staff. I went there because I had a coupon for a free sourdough loaf if a six pack of scones was purchased. The scones were a bit pricy but they tasted good (actually to me they were very very pricy, could've purchased five sourdough loaves at Superstore). They had a selection of sourdough loaves this time and I went with the cob (better known as a round loave or boule), it was dense, the crust was thick and chewy but otherwise, it was a good sourdough loaf. I doubt if it's good enough for repeat visits as we normally just let our bread machine run wild and really the grocery stores have some good inhouse par-baked options for real cheap, not quite true artisan but often good enough. I guess if you don't mind paying a premium for your bread or rather scones in my case, then Cob's should be fine and at least they won't get squashed in the click and connect pick up.

There was a young man (Brandon) who served me the other day. His service was impeccable and informative. I will definitely return and reccomend. The quality of the product, coupled with the amazing customer service experience is 5/5.
