I’m really disappointed with the lack of hygiene. The bakers handle the dough while wearing rings and watches, and I’ve seen it many times, so it isn’t just a one-time mistake. That is not acceptable for a food business. I won’t be coming back.

For some reason people keep giving us free stuff from Cobs. We're so addicted now....I'm a bit worried that one day our free 'back-alley' supplier might stop given us the free stuff...I don't think we can live without them.

I love this Bakery! Especially this location. All the staff are friendly and greet you with a smile. They keep just the right amount of inventory of the top items too!

Thank you for having my bread ready to go!

Cheers

Great service, delicious sourdough, friendly clean bakery! Sarah is the best manager and goes above and beyond to make our sourdough loafs on the lighter side which makes it even more delicious! All the staff here is helpful.☺️

Requesting to heat our food but they denied. I am not a happy member customer. Other locations they do

Bought multiple pastries and asked them to heat it up (as we have done before and really enjoyed the pastries warm). Was told by staff that they DO NOT heat up pastries and did not explain why. Tried to ask again and all she said was that they did not offer heating up pastries for customers. Weird

Stopped at Cobs in Mahogany today around 5 PM and had a disappointing experience. While waiting patiently in line, an ignorant, self-entitled woman strolled right up to the counter while the person ahead of me was still being helped. The employee saw the whole thing happen but, instead of serving me next, he went ahead and helped the line-cutter like she was some sort of bread-buying royalty.

When I pointed it out, the guy just awkwardly laughed it off like it wasn’t a big deal. Meanwhile, in my head, I was thinking how great it would be to give her The Suplex City Treatment out the front door to teach her a lesson in common courtesy - unlike her parents did. I’ve been a customer since they opened, and so has my family, but I ended up walking out without buying anything. If I were the owner, I’d want to know my staff was handing out VIP treatment to people who think lines don’t apply to them. Not sure if I’ll be back - hard to enjoy a place when you feel like you need to fight for your spot in line just to buy a loaf of bread.

Sarah, who often works the front, is really the best. She chats with me and remembers my previous purchases, making recommendations. Very welcoming environment

My husband stopped by on Saturday at 4pm to get some chocolate croissants. Unfortunately when we ate them Sunday morning, they were dry and stale. Given the price ($5 per pastry) and lack of freshness, we will go back to buying these from Sobeys.
