On several occasions over the last year or so my daughter (now 3) and I would attend regularly to buy bread. At one point they started offering my daughter a free treat on our leaving. For better or worst she learned to expect this free treat whenever she came in. Suffice it to say, but today she was declined her request for a treat and I was told by the employee that she never heard of the policy. I hope this does not come across as entitled, as that is something I’d like to actively steer my daughter away from, nevertheless, this experience left her feeling rather dejected.

The bread is really great. Not as much selection as I would like to see, but all fresh and yummy.

A great Cobs location. Plenty of parking, easy access, same great selection of baked goods. Been going there long enough (over a decade) that they recognize my car and know my routine order and prep it before I walk in the door. That's excellent service.

Lazy staff, not friendly at all. One person continuously asking in an annoyed way if there was anything else as she ran up the total on the till while another grabbed it. She didn’t seem to really want to be there. Asked for 3 scones, received only 2, lucky only charge for 2. Asked for pack of tarts, paid for those but did not receive. Store was not busy, no one else there. Just wanted the money. Couldn’t even be bothered to ask if we collect points just wanted the payment. Usually enjoy COBS, bad location, won’t return to this one.

The French baguette I bought was frozen before, I could tell by tasting the inside of the bread, and yes it was cold.So they are hiding the fact that we buy frozen bread, just be aware if you might put cobs bread in the freezer back again.

The white and chocolate and peach scones are very good … the staff was ok …

Products are always fresh and very tasty. The fact they don't use preservatives is a plus

I go there frequently to grab a snack on my work break and today the bread case with the cheese buns and scones etc. was FULL of flies and bugs, fruit flies and larger bugs crawling all over the food :( it’s a shame because I loved going there but now I will never come back ???
