Nothing but good things to say about this place. They practice what they preach with regards to inclusivity! Truly a gem in the community. And amazing quality food and coffee!

A wonderful coffee shop. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. My favourite thing about Congress is how strong the coffee tastes. Their food is great too. Highly recommend visiting there!

Great little coffee shop! I went for a morning coffee (which was tasty) and they had an awesome atmosphere. They’re set up well for live music - it’d be neat to go for a show. Bring a sweater though - the AC was working very well.

In town for a day, and I was looking for a coffee shop that was not Starbucks.

Decided on Congress coffee. Honestly I had a little trouble finding it, it is on the left and I did not see any signage by the door. I thought it was the bisara place or whatever. I was about to leave but loud wierd sounds drew my attention to the left of the strip.

Popped in and it was full of people. I guess there was an event going on. Not my thing but I was able to order so no big deal. I think they had a patio.

Anyway long story short the coffee was pretty good so props to them. I had a ice mocha with whip cream,

What a lovely place, lots of events

Stopped by a local coffee shop. It has a unique vibe and interior. I had ice Americano and latte. Latte is really good strong and richness in flavor, ice Americano doesn't taste that strong enough compare to the latte. I feel like it's a miss to serve ice Americano in a plastic cup.

Most welcoming cafe I've been to.

Awesome coffee and delicious bagel. The barista is really nice.

Definitely will come again.

Friendly staff with some pretty cool events. I came for the open mic night hosted by Rob Dunn. It's not really a jam session as it is an opportunity to listen to local talent; everyone gets their own 10-minute slot to perform. On the upside, they do have an upright piano, so that made setup much easier for me (only a few select open mics in Calgary have this). Overall, vibrant atmosphere, but I think they should introduce more socializing in between sets to promote networking: I'd suggest a 5-minute break between each performer.

This is my favorite little coffee! As a diabetic they always have my sugar free vanilla syrup so I can have my favorite London Fog tea. They always have something happening every week. A show, open mics, jam, etc. My families favorite is the open mic with Bob! Open mic is every 2 weeks. Check out the dates for all you artist that love to share your music and enjoy others talent as well. Don't take my work for it. Go check it out!
