Stopped in at Congress Coffee Co. on a random Saturday morning for an Americano. Was in the general area waiting to do some business with an hour to kill beforehand. I missed my Red Arrow bus and was told by the staff there was a coffee place nearby I could hang out while I waited for the next one. I just moved to Calgary and don't live in the area, so coming across this cafe was a fortunate coincidence. I suspect this place is rated highly for the atmosphere and the events, not the coffee.
Maybe I just got my coffee on an off day, but my latte was pretty weak—there was less flavour than times I’ve had a single shot—and the milk was the right temperature but not microfoam.
