I hadn’t been to Copper Branch in some time, and I won’t be back after my visit yesterday. I went with four other people, and there was significant lapses in time between each persons meal being brought out. The fries were really soggy and unappetizing. There were sides missing. My tacos tasted a bit bland ( I actually only finished 2/3), and I was sadly reunited with the memory of them in the toilet bowl later in the day, in a most unfortunate way.

My heart had already told me never to return to The Copper Branch (or should I say… Crapper Brunch?) and then my stomach came to a timely place of agreement. There are far better vegan options in Calgary, in my opinion.

Copper branch used to be so good a few years ago. Everytime I've went back since the quality has went down drastically. I've ordered my meal with fries both times and they are barely cooked at all. Slimy, soft, and undercooked. It's really not hard to cook fries properly and they charge way to much for being such poor quality. I also ordered a smoothie which they didn't even fill up all the way and small portion for 8 dollars. I would not recommend and I will not be going back unfortunately:/ I miss the delicious quality I used to get back in 2020/2021

I used to go to copper branch quite often when they first opened up a few years ago. It has definitely changed. The food doesn’t taste fresh anymore, just thrown together quickly. Very minimal sauce or dressing with bowls each time, and just bland. What happened??

The food was indigestible. My family and I are vegetarian and so I’m not comparing to meat products but the food here wasn’t tasty at all. The black bean burger was dry, none of the advertised flavour was present. The poutine portion was very generous but monotonous in taste. For 3 burger combos, at $86 (the price of a sit down restaurant), I definitely don’t recommend Copper Branch. The positives are great, friendly and efficient staff.

copper branch is quite tasty! they have plenty of healthy options, and customizable bowls/sandwiches. the best on the menu is probably their tempeh or the chikn wings!

Had a very good Asian fusion bowl here for what felt like a very reasonable price as a visiting American. Portion was large and the mushrooms were prepared perfectly.

Excited because it’s a fully plant based restaurant. Was disappointed with what I ordered for the price. My wings were rubbery, you have to cook those drumsticks a certain way to get a desirable texture, other vegan restaurants do it properly.

picked up dinner takeout with preorder. Got to the car and realized the fries were missing from the fingers meal. I came back in hoping it was an oversight but the employee instead argued I had ordered only the fingers, no fries. It’s clearly listed as a meal in the receipt and the menu. I didn’t have time to argue about the missing fries so had to leave. I’m not impressed at spending $15 on just a few fingers without the side.

Lots to choose from and friendly staff. The food was OK. We didn’t like the wrap, wings, poutine, or coleslaw. The aoli sauce was the best and tasted like ranch. Very yummy. I am vegan, but had a hard time with the food. Others might like it, I could totally see that. The drinking station for water is a sink and was weird. Server was so nice.

Vegetarian options: All vegan.

Dietary restrictions: All vegan.

I love this place so I don't want to give a negative review. But tbh the pictures are nothing like the actual meal, there's like one price of letter, things have gotten super scarce. Please take this feedback seriously, we love your place, but find it hard to keep supporting it.

When Copperbranch opened in Calgary we supported it as there weren't very many vegan restaurants and Calgary's plant based scene isn't strong. I don't work in the vicinity so I do not get to that area of the city as much. Until! When I tried the Burrito, a new menu item. It was delicious the first two times I was addicted to each taste. I went back to order another one this week and it was dry. I mentioned it to the manager and they replaced it unfortunately with the same dry taste. No sauce no potatoes just dry rice. I mentioned it again and the response was basically they don't care. The fellow said he makes it one way.
I won't be going back if they want to make cut backs by making a delicious dish taste horrible that is their choice.
