The quality seems to be going down, I've gone in person and ordered from this location a few times and it seems like the quality of ingredients and care is going down in the last few months. The new cubed potatoes are barely cooked or seasoned (they taste like frozen ones from the grocery store), last time I ordered they didn't even toast the bread or check if all the items were included when packaging. I don't think the current quality justifies the price, it would be great to see a return to the consistent high standards Cora has had the reputation for.

This was our first time visiting Cora (130rd Avenue location). We came for breakfast and were excited to try it.
The place looked very nice, and the food itself was cooked well. However, shortly after we started eating, we found a long hair in the food. The hair was clearly visible and a different color, which made the situation even more unpleasant.
The staff apologized and offered to replace the meal, but by that point we had completely lost our appetite. None of us could continue eating. We ended up paying and leaving without finishing our breakfast.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing first experience. Cleanliness is extremely important, especially in a restaurant. Finding hair in the food made the entire experience feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. Because of this, we will not be returning.

A few years ago my husband had many stressful appointments at the hospital which eventually resulted in a diagnosis of a chronic disease. After each appointment we would have lunch at Cora’s on 130 Ave SE in Calgary. Brenda was usually our server and her friendliness and efficiency along with the delicious food helped us regain a sense of calm. We returned today after I had a medical test and I was thinking that Brenda and Cora’s have become an important part of our medical team. Thank you.

I had breakfast here today and was genuinely blown away by how great the experience was. The food was delicious, but what truly made the visit exceptional was our server, Sati. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. He anticipated what we needed before we even asked and checked in at the perfect moments without ever being intrusive.
Sati has that rare combination of friendliness, efficiency, and genuine care that takes a simple meal and turns it into a memorable experience. You can tell he really takes pride in his work. It’s not often you come across service this consistently excellent.
If management sees this Sati is a real asset to your team. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. I’ll definitely be coming back, thanks to him!
