This place has always been one of my favourite places — delicious food, warm atmosphere, and an amazing team. The staff is usually incredibly kind and welcoming, and that’s why we’ll definitely keep coming back.
But today’s experience was truly disappointing. We were served by the girl in the photo, and sadly, her attitude was the complete opposite of what we’re used to here. She was unfriendly, unhelpful, and acted like she didn’t want to be there at all. It felt uncomfortable and unpleasant — her energy completely killed my appetite and mood.
I gave 1 star only because of how this interaction made me feel today. I really hope management sees this and takes it seriously — the rest of the staff absolutely deserves praise, but one bad attitude can ruin the whole experience.

I think this place is exactly what it professes to be. It's not fine dining and it's not food court but it is decent, authentic food. The staff were friendly and we liked everything that we bought.

Yum!! I haven't been here in about 7 years. Today we tried it again . Honestly compared to other burrito places . This one is really good! Not shy with cilantro! Serving size it good .they MAKE the tortillas!!
A bit dirty( condiment area and garbage can was FULL ) one chicken slice of chicken in burrito was burnt ?! Lol Other then that it was good .
One lady was super nice!! And the other was grumpy lol . A balance lol .

The delivery from here is really good. Tried in person. Asked for refried beans and they gave me pinto then assured me they were refried lol. Don't offer you anything. Will zip past all the toppings unless you ask for something. Tried to convince me to not take the salsa because it's spicy. Seems cheap. Tres leches are insanely good I wonder what bakery they are from.

We had Joha Leon at Costa Vida Southland cater a Mexican lunch for our office, and it was absolutely fantastic! They provided a taco bar with chicken, a fresh and colorful salad bar with beef and pork, and two incredible desserts—tres leches and key lime pie.
The taco bar was a standout and the variety of toppings let everyone customize their meal just the way they liked it. The salad bar was crisp and refreshing, a great complement to the main dishes. And the desserts? Simply amazing! The tres leches was rich and moist, and the key lime pie had just the right balance of tangy and sweet.
Delivery was prompt, setup was seamless, and the presentation made everything look as good as it tasted.
Thank you Joha for making our lunch so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

Service is now absolutely HORRIBLE. You can expect an average of 20-30 minutes to order, then another 10 minutes for food prep. Every time.
Food is now also very inconsistent at best, sometimes even quite bad. My family and I used to frequent Costa Vida Southland 3 times a week, but had dropped that to 1 or 2x a month in recent months.
After our last visit, I'll never return.
Worth noting, as this had been an amazing operation we supported for years, I took time to share these concerns with the manager and owner (a very nice man). The owners daughter replied with cold, defensive, and challenging comments, who, after dismissing every concern, invited me to call her to discuss further 🤣👍.
If I get any reply from management questioning this assertion, i'll post the entire email and reply here for all to draw their own conclusions.
There are plenty of places with consistently good food and customer service. This isn't one of them anymore, unfortunately.
We were pleasantly surprised by Costa Vida (Southland) - the food and the service is impeccable!
We initially ordered via the Skip App for pick up but decided to dine in and we were SO glad we did.
When we arrived, Ella promptly greeted us and immediately reviewed our order to ensure everything we ordered was prepared. The pick up process was quick and efficient. During the pick up process, Ella was kind and personable. She ensured we felt like valued customers even though we were just picking up a takeout order. It is clear Costa Vida (Southland) takes great pride is providing excellent customer service.
There was an extensive menu to choose from but we ultimately ordered the Beef Barbacoa Enchiladas and Grilled Chicken Enchiladas - both were absolutely delicious. The food is carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and it shows. We were so impressed with both dishes, we decided to order more food to go.
Upon ordering, we found out it was Cinco De Mayo and their Sweet Pork Enchiladas were only $8. We ordered two of these to go and have yet to try them. We are almost certain they’re going to be delicious.
Finally, as we were leaving, we were approached by the manager, Joha, who asked us about our experience. This was our first time eating at Costa Vida and we were thoroughly impressed by the entire experience.

Not sure what it is about this location but the quality has gone downhill. Very cheap portions with the meat and cheese, the beans always look old and not fresh. They also no longer take the rewards system. Used to love coming here very disappointing.
