We ordered online for pick up via Toast and our order was ready promptly! The staff was friendly and offered to help carry out, as we had a couple bags of food. The food was DELICIOUS and I’m so glad we checked Costa Vida out! We will certainly be back.

I ordered a meal with two drinks, only to find out after I paid that they were out of Horchata, which was the only drink I actually wanted. I asked for a refund for the drinks since I didn’t want anything else. They said they “processed” the refund and gave me a receipt, but they never asked me to re-tap my card or confirm anything on the terminal. When I asked about it, they told me it would show up in 1 to 2 business days and that it was “up to Interac, not us.”
I’ve never experienced a refund process like that in a retail setting, so I was understandably caught off guard. Then they asked me to pay again for the food without the drinks, even though the refund hadn’t shown up yet. I told them I didn’t feel comfortable being charged again without any confirmation that the refund went through, and they didn’t really have anything to say. The staff didn’t seem to fully understand their own system, which didn’t help.
Maybe this is how their refund process works, but if it’s that different from what most people are used to, there should be clearer explanations and more reassurance from staff. I don’t think it’s unreasonable that I felt uneasy with how it played out. It wasn’t a good experience, and while I might try Costa Vida again, I’ll probably skip this location.

The place was nice and clean. The young men behind the counter were friendly and polite and happy. The food was delicious. My hubby and I each had a burrito. We could barely finish it, it was stuffed and so were we:). The limeade is very good and refreshing. For dessert we each had a cinnamon tortilla, it was very good too.

I usually like this place but came in 11:10am (just opened) the meat had skinned over and the Beef was half empty and just looked like juice. When I asked if this is normal or if they just put the last tin back out from the night before, the server I was speaking said, I’ll get the manager! Oh, ok interesting response to my question. Manager came out Agressive and said all their product is in a controlled environment and yes it could very well be the stuff from last night,” we’d go broke if we didn’t reheat.” I understood that but asked why wouldn’t you fill the bins but quickly realized I was waisting my time, but after that, I was treated awful! Lol oh my, it should’ve been handled way better. Anyway, the presentation of the food (in my opinion) looked Dilapidated and that it has been there a long time. Also they have hand sanitizer machines out that they never fill… Either take them away or fill them. (Please)

Isabella was so rude. I had to tell her my order so many times. She ignored me everytime. Threw my food instead of putting it nicely in the to go container. She looked so pissed and unpleased to be there. Looked like she hated working there. Do better. If you don't want to be there change your job

As a Texan coming here I had high expectations. It was delicious. I’m not saying it feels like authentic Mexican food but if we’re comparing this place to Chipotle then Costa Vida is better. The employees seemed happy to work here too. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Chipotle employee smile.

This place has become an absolute disappointment. Every time I come in here giving them another chance, but they just don’t seem to care. I ordered a shredded beef burrito, and the employee slapped it together like he was in a competition to see how fast he could make it. He rolled the burrito over to close it and all the beans and rice came out and he left it like that. Then put some cheese on it like it was good to go and just threw it into the oven. There were no customers in line behind me, so there’s no reason for this nonsense. There was barely any rice, beans, or beef in the burrito. Where’s the consistency in the preparation?! I’ll never step in to the NE location anymore after the same practices, and if this issue isn’t resolved, I’ll never step into this location either. Get your shit together Costa Vida.

The washrooms are disgusting, splats all over the toilet bowl. Their manager is very rude, I felt bad for the skip driver who got embarassed for placing their bag on top of their table and was told not to do so. I wouldn’t go back here, horrible experience!
