Excellent gluten free options (Celiac friendly)!
Went with celiac and the majority of their menu was gluten free or could be made gluten free, including the hollandaise sauce.
We ordered the Tostadas (picture) and Mexicali Hash Bowl (both GF, no subs needed) and they were delicious!! Food portions were hearty and definitely had a good mix of comfort food and well thought out flavours! The chai lattes were tasty.

Service was not good, took them a long time to take our order and give us our bills even when it was not busy. I felt like we were being ignored and the staff was just behind the counter talking to each other and texting while waiting 20+ minutes to get our bill. Also instead of making us a hot chocolate they told us to go to the place next door. Bad service. Will not be returning to this cafe, save your money and go to a place where the servers want to serve you, you’ll have a better experience:)

Best coffee I have had in Calgary. I recommend French toast coffee.

This is a quaint little café. The service was great and it was wonderful. I like that they locally source everything.

Always a little tight to get into as there isn’t too many tables. Make a reservation during peak hours. The food is healthy, well made and delicious. Lots of options for dietary restrictions. I love the breakfast menu tostadas (they have a vegan option for this!).

The girlfriend and I decided to try Dairy Lane Cafe based on the reviews and proximity to our house.

We ordered the Vegetable Omellette, Back Bacon & Tomato Eggs Benedict, and French Toast.

All three dishes lacked the basic flavours. All three dishes were over cooked. The Hollandaise sauce had no flavour and could not taste it. The French Toast was kind of weird, it was dry and the fruits were not fresh. Overall not happy with the experience and will not be coming back. I don't usually write reviews but just wanted to provide an honest opinion on my experience so others can be aware.

Our server was kind but the food just was not it for us.

my happy place. Food is delicious, soup always divine, margaritas heavenly and portions generous, they are very amendable to swapping out ingredients, to catering to children, but above all: the staff are insanely welcoming, including the chefs. I have chatted to diners in there that have driven from the other side of the city to eat at Dairy Lane. If you go often, everybody will know your name. And, always have the brownie dessert.

Really great food, but be prepared to be dining cozy with other people close.

French toast dry and weird. Tastes like cheap Demny’s french toast or worse. Fruit on toast old and shrivelled. Menu claims it’s brioche French toast but this was plan-ish bread. I don’t think they know what brioche is.. I should have ordered something else as other dishes looked better, but my server said to try the French toast.. hot chocolate was also terrible and had no flavor. Service slow. Another typical bad meal in Calgary!

10/10 recommend. I got the Baked Oatmeal and my boyfriend got the Spinach Eggs Benedict. Both were scrumptious and super filling. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They even have a connecting cafe where you can wait for your table and order specialty lattes. Great spot for brunch!

Such a cute cafe! It was my first time there. But super friendly staff, helpful, and very personable, wait times were quick. Food is amazing. I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this place. Ma and pop type vibes cute and cozy. Definitely going to come back and recommend to others
