Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I usually get good service here, but when I walk up to the till and staff don't even acknowledge you (a simple 'someone will be right with you' would suffice) for 5 minutes before being served is not a good look.

First of all, the staff here are amazing. I have only had good experiences with them. Never gotten an incorrect order and everyone is super friendly with me.

This review is to give a wake up call to DQ corporate. Time to overhaul the menu and bring back REAL grill burgers. Current burgers are sad, grey, pathetic put on a stale bun and it all gets tossed in a "booster". A BOOSTER IS JUST A MICROWAVE. USE A TOASTER LIKE EVERY OTHER BURGER PLACE EVER!

Young lady on till answered questions in a tone that presented as annoyed and indifferent. When I received my chicken wraps I asked if they came with a sauce, she responded with “yes - ranch sauce” and went around a corner. I assumed she was getting a package of it for me. After waiting for a while she came back and took another customers order and began making Blizzard s. I leaned over and asked if she had any luck getting sauce for me - her response was “ No obviously the chicken wraps came with it on” … I said no that wasn’t obvious and I assumed you were getting it. She responded -“ it is obvious” . I didn’t get into a discussion with her as it seems now a days the thing that has any impact is to file a review - she may be trainable (?) however owner should focus on customer service training including politeness….. as Disney trains - customer may not always be right but we should always treat them as our Guest. Good luck…..

This may be the slowest DQ in Calgary. And the service is lacking. Kinda rude and they don't speak clearly. It's like they are mad you came in for some food and made them work. The food is what I'd expect from DQ and the store seems kept relatively clean. The place could use an update bad though.

All the negative reviews are 100% accurate; this location is a disaster.
Poor service, poor product. Extremely frustrating experience, and like many others, I was overcharged.
I'm shocked DQ HQ hasn't stepped in to do something.

Let’s just say.. there’s a reason why there’s only 3 stars on this place. Foods great, but don’t get the pizza/ice cream thing, or too much of the ice cream itself. The chocolate cone is good.

But for this to be a restaurant? Oh, far from it. Disappointing, but it was expected after all.

It smells like you havent changed your mop head for 7 months. Like there’s not even a smell of burgers and fries. Food is of quality like any dairy queen, but, the smell in this place is very unclean. The kitchen that is viewable looks clean, but the smell is off putting.

Location can go kick rocks. Ordered online so I could pick up quickly and return back to work. Watched 4 workers completely disregard me. Got to work and cracked it open and I have 4 miniscule strips and barely any fries. Got my money back immediately while a worker is still shooting me a dirty look. Don’t come here

My first time in DQ at this location.. nice friendly polite staff, bought a double original burger and it was really good delicious burger. Will surely have more of DQ burgers on their menu.

Been coming once a week to this DQ with my grandson . Also we live about 1/2 a block away . He loves their burgers and I also love the special Hamburger and fry for $6 . Over the years have tried lots of options . EVERYTIME … they’ve been great in Service and taste ! BIGTIME spot for the Locals as one . I have read the low/ bad reviews and never once had anything like that happen . I’m a very hard person to please and I recommend this DQ .
