Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I have been coming here for many many many years and ever since they reopened it went downhill. The food is disgusting and overpriced. There used to be somebody named Andrew that worked there who was absolutely amazing and the place just isn’t the same without him.

To start with , they got my order completely wrong and in my humble opinion the prices at DQ are astronomical. I could understand if the food (particularly the deserts)was that good but I don't find that to be the case . 10 dollars for a large blizzard seems a little much . I was pretty disappointed in the whole visit and doubt whether or not I will return .

My niece and I ordered ice cream about 30 minutes ago. We specifically asked for non-dairy ice cream, and the staff member assured us that they had a non-dairy option. Trusting that our request was understood and followed, we proceeded with our order.

However, shortly after eating the ice cream, my niece began to have an allergic reaction. A rash appeared on her face, which is extremely alarming, as she is at risk of going into anaphylactic shock. This situation is completely unacceptable.

Your staff must be properly trained to handle dietary restrictions and allergy-related requests. This could have had life-threatening consequences. We urge you to take immediate disciplinary action and ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

ordered blizzards, got soup…

Absolutely disgusting, they took 15 minutes to make 3 medium blizzards in front of me. Then proceeded to get them wrong and not flip them in front of me either.

They are open! Wonderful, community oriented business. Looking forward to supporting them.

I am a delivery driver with SkipTheDishes, and I had a disappointing experience with the online order assistant. She made me wait 20 minutes without even asking for the order number I was there to pick up. During that time, she gave orders to other drivers who waited less than 5 minutes, while another driver and I were left waiting. The other driver eventually gave up and left without the order. At the end, she claimed my order wasn’t there, without checking the Skip app properly. To make things worse, she raised her voice at me. Overall, this experience was frustrating and showed a lack of professionalism.”

This is Best Dairy Queen, maybe even best fast food restaurant in Calgary. The staff are always extremely nice and actually want to take your order. The food always tastes great, and I am never disappointed when I come to this location. The amount they give you for the small blizzard is the same as the medium blizzard from a certain location that I will not name. Nice place to sit down and amazing environment. There’s nothing I would ask of this location, no room for improvement. 5/5, would be higher but that’s all I can give.

I haven’t been to Dairy Queen in years, and when I used to visit, it was primarily for the ice cream—I never tried their food. However, I was thrilled by my experience at this location! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome right away.

I decided to try a cheeseburger along with my favorite ice cream treat, and I was genuinely impressed. The service was fast and efficient, and everything tasted great. It’s refreshing to see such a strong commitment to customer service; it truly sets this location apart. Thank you for a wonderful experience—keep up the fantastic work! I look forward to coming back again soon.

Ordered a cake for my son's bday. They went above and Beyond!! The cake decorator did an amazing job! Ordered a cake from the Chestermere location last bday and they struggled to draw a simple dinosaur, but the details in this monster truck from this location were insane! HIGHLY recommend!

My favourite Dairy Queen the workers r so nice and the food is just so good, I love their blizzards so much, last time i went here, we ordered a banana split, ate that and ordered two sundaes to go, the guy serving us he gave us a discount! i appreciated that so much i hope that man has a good life

Professional customer service, great energy, big smiles. The staff seem to be in que with each other. One is taking orders while others maybe helping moving product or cleaning. The manager seems to help the workers get the orders right. I don't always go to dairy queen but when I do I prefer this one. I have been ill for the last couple of days and wanted to take my kids for ice cream. Yesterday the staff at dairy queen helped me redeem a promo and made it happen. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. If i was the owner I would be proud of each and every one of these people. Thank you!!
