Went in for a late-night donair and was so impressed with the quality. I got a beef donair and they absolutely packed it with meat. The sauces were tangy, the vegetables fresh and crisp. They also added cheese for a fee, which was immense. Fantastic place, the gentlemen working were polite and friendly. I should add they even threw in a pastry, what a gem of a place.

Amazing place for Shawarma. The taste of the food is too good and the portion of the food is a lot. The staff are so friendly and nice. The only minus point is, you do not have much space for a dine in. This place is suitable for quick take away.

Despite not being quite on the main strip, this spot is consistently popular to no surprise, because their shawarmas are a fricking delight. You can't call yourself a foodie in Calgary unless you've eaten here at Damascus. Feeling blue and need some cheering up? When you walk in the door, the staff always have a smile on their faces. I'm incredibly happy to hear they have plans for expansion.
This is the best Shawrama place in the city. The boys who work here are an absolute pleasure to see. I am so glad I lived near by and go there whenever I liked and they always delivered each & every time.The customer service is unmatched and reminds of the warm Arabian hospitality that is rare to find in North America.
