Was denied legal tender at this location.

No cash payments! I enjoy the products but not enough to come back. Their policy of not accepting cash payments is so frustrating and not temporary so I’ll be looking for alternatives.

I received an email asking to review a product I never purchased. After looking at my order history through my email account, I found out while I was at this location something was added to my transaction accidentally which added about $30 to my purchace.

Within 4 minutes of my phone call to the store, the issue was resolved and the customer service was so friendly and efficient.

I would highly recommend this location to any shoppers, not only are the staff excellent at making tea recommendations, but they resolve issues like none other I've seen. I will continue to purchase here for all my tea needs :)

staff were helpful until I tried to pay. I am pissed off that I wasted time going to Chinook and the time I spent in store only to find out I couldnt buy anything. I really hope that not all locations are cash free.

Omg, Sydney was super amazing. I don’t know the first thing about tea, but I just visited this branch today because I know a good friend of mine loves tea. I was pretty concerned about selecting teas, but Sydney helped me choose the perfect combination. I asked Sydney literally tons of somewhat silly questions about teas and requested packages with a similar amount. Sydney did it for me super quickly and properly. Sydney was so sweet and answered all my questions with a lovely smile. Sydney was my lifesaver today for sure, lol. Thanks to that, now I can visit Korea to give this amazing gift to my good friend! Even though it was my first time visiting DAVIDs TEA, but I feel like now I'm a big fan of this brand. Haha. Thanks a lot, Sydney. :)

The store is clean and tidy. The store person was good young girl. I got a magic portion with honey “to go”, $5. Yum

I absolutely love David’s tea and yesterday I went to this location to get my usual teas and explore something new.I selected the Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait and asked the sales associate to get me 100gm of it. She mentioned it is lighter so it will be a little bit more so I said that’s fine.Then I asked about a tin and asked to put my tea in the tin and she kept filling it and I thought may be it’s looking more because she mentioned earlier.I reached home and saw the tin and the tea was 394 gm instead of the 100 I asked. Well it is on me, I should have checked but the sales associate should have let me know that it was so much.Today I tried the tea and did not like it. I went back to the store to return and they declined saying they cannot refund but only exchange as this was loose leaf tea.There was no mention of you cannot return loose leaf tea on the website. I showed them and they said they cannot refund.I feel so disappointed that I had to try to get a refund on something that I did not even agree to buy(394 gm which was almost 4 times from what I asked).Really bad experience on both days. I would rather order online like I usually do. Really bad bad experience.Update: the Customer service was amazing. They reached out a couple days after I posted the review and turned this experience into a better one. They refunded the tea that I had returned to my OG form of payment. Erin was very helpful and went to the store yesterday and received the refund.
