This is late…but my partner and I went for the YYC experience. Food was so delicious, well priced and service was friendly. Will definitely be returning!

Had afternoon tea for the first time at Deane House. Not great. The food was mediocre but the price was well ABOVE average. $65 for very small Barbie sized portions of mediocre food, and okay tea. There are better options in Calgary than this. I do not mind paying for quality but this wasn’t it.

Overall love the atmosphere and food in this place but today the afternoon tea was underwhelming and dissapointing at best. I expected that with $65 per person this would adhere not only to the price but the quality that this place should offer. Photo for reference. Definitely not worth the price tag. Plenty of better options for high tea.

It is in a quaint and nice setting, which amplifies the experience. The food is tasty and nice.

Went for Afternoon Tea with a friend. We were greeted with very friendly service. Sat at a lovely table by the window. Waitress explained the tea. We ordered wine it came quickly and the wine service was wonderful. We had told our server we’d would like the tea tray with our wine to enjoy the savoury items. Then the tea later for the more traditional items. We finished our wine and still no tea tray. We had to ask when it might be coming out. It was over 30 minutes. We were told shortly. Meanwhile the tables on either side. One family of 8 and a deuce had both, been seated after us but were being served. A bit disappointing. When the tea arrived it was beautifully presented both physically and by our server who explained all that was presented. From the fresh scones with the clotted cream to the lamb tarts. All fantasticWhen we left my tea companion mentioned how lovely the tarts were. The manager asked us to wait and ran to present her with 4 to enjoy at homeOverall. Lovely tea. Just needed to be more observant of the timing. I would go back for a special occasion.Would have 5 stars if the timing was better

It was awesome! Gigi was our server and she did a terrific job along with other staff. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. The complimentary champagne for then occasion of our anniversary was a nice treat. Also it was great to see Courtney, which was the server for our wedding about a year ago (which happened there, btw).

What a Wednesday afternoon treat! Loved the discount on the glasses of wine! And really appreciated the recommendation for the ginger beets. My main meal of smoked mushroom perogies was very filling. Will come back again next time we are travelling thru Calgary.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere here! One of my favourites in Calgary. Food was delicious and very well presented. We did the tasting menu and every part of the experience was worth every penny. The service was outstanding! Overall a really good experience. I am super glad with everything!

My niece and I came in for some hot chocolate and possible emf readings. Lol. Best hot chocolate we've ever had. All the staff were awesome. They went the extra mile and showed us around. What a cool piece of Calgary history. Definitely

We took our daughter to Deane House for her 23rd birthday and enjoyed the Supper Club tasting menu. I enjoyed the gluten free version and everything we all had was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was lovely and careful to check with the chef to accommodate my dietary needs. It was a lovely evening and the dishes paced very well. Highly recommend!

Lovely setting and ambiance, nice spread just dissapointed that the website quoted $46 for afternoon tea and it was actually $65. Really appreciate the care that was taken for dietary restrictiions.
