The place was very quaint. The music wasn't loud enough to not have a conversation and not too low that you don't know what's playing.
Food was amazing specially the garlic Naan and chicken tikka butter masala.
The chef and owner of the place is warm and friendly.
Overall it was one of the best small Indian restaurant I have been to in calgary.

I stopped by Deepak's Dhaba on Centre Street in Calgary and sampled several of their curries, including the Lamb Vindaloo and Butter Chicken. The Lamb Vindaloo had a pleasant kick of spice, which I appreciated. However, overall, the curries were just average. I’d rate the experience a 7/10.

I had the Aloo Parantha from the lunch special today, and it was absolutely mind-blowing 🤩. It tasted just like the ones you’d get at a roadside dhaba in India—super crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The parantha was served with chutney 🥣, which truly elevated the dish. Despite their hearty appearance, the paranthas were surprisingly light, making it easy to enjoy two without feeling too full 😬.

I also tried the Bhatura Platter 🫓 and Kadhi Chawal 🍛—both are highly recommended! Each dish was packed with authentic flavors, but the parantha was definitely the star of the meal 🌟.

We came all the way from Surrey and ordered food for take out. They were very rude. We heard alot about them but they were very unprofessional and didn’t take our order. We even confirmed 2hours before their closing time. They said they will stop taking orders after 9:30 but we called around 9:15 for take out order but they didn’t accept our order
